I've got this crazy theory that Shane is going to lay down for Legacy so Orton wins the belt, therefore joining legacy. So do you think there's going to be a second fingerpoke of doom?

I could also see Batista turning on his team forming a new Evolution.
Your idea is possible too, though.

How would that work? HHH and Batista just stand there and let him lay down?

If you want ratings to go down that badly then yes! They won't do something that stupid at a main event.

I could see Batista getting the pin then complaining how he should get the title, turning his back on Triple H and helping Orton out for a little while, then once Trips/Orton wraps up slowly ease into Triple H/Batista or Batista/Orton.

I dont think it would be as obvious as a fingerpoke of doom. But I could see Shane turning and joining Legacy as a consultant/manager. Maybe not himself lying down but turning on Batista or HHH during the match.
I dont think Batista will turn. THere are money matches still between Orton and Dave.

Yeah I didn't mean an actual fingerpoke of doom, but a situation where Trips and Bats are brawling with Rhodes and Dibiase and Orton gets the pin on Shane. Then on RAW Shane reveals he let them pin him

If there was going to be a heel turn, it would've happened tonight. That's my reasoning, and I'm sticking to it.

Here's what I said in the thread about Batista being back:
If Batista turns heel, he'll do it by attacking Shane McMahon and allowing Orton to win the title. And the HHHaters will complain the nose couldn't take the pinfall.
If Batista turns heel by attacking Triple H and allowing Orton to get the pin, people will complain the nose couldn't take the pinfall CLEANLY.

Why does Shane have to lay down? He could always swerve Triple H or Big Dave and hit them with a chair or sledgehammer. Thus, joining Legacy while not "Hogan-and-Nash-ing" the end of the main event.

I still really don't see why either Batista or Shane joining the Legacy makes any sense. Randy put the former out of action for months and the latter has been punted and overall had the piss beaten out of him by Orton and company constantly. If anything I'd just prefer some new member of Legacy show up and help them win rather than a random turn.
If Batista was to turn on HHH I'd prefer he do it for himself and have a three way feud with the two of them and Orton.

I predict some sort of betrayal. Shane O Mac is more likely to keep in tune with the whole "Second Generation" thing, but Batista is possible too.

I still think there's an outside chance Big Dave will sell out and join Legacy as a bodyguard.
As I said in another thread....every man DOES have his price. ;D

I think Batista turning makes quite a bit of sense, provided they make it seem as though Orton's poisoned his mind. Batista's reasoning could be that Randy was right about Triple H, pointing out how Trips manipulated Batista back in Evolution. All of H's past sins would be coming back to bite him in his now babyface ass.

Knowing WWE, they'll be no heel turns and Triple H will pin Orton clearly. *Yawns*

As Shane McMahon is second generation I can see him joining The Legacy. I'd have him hit Batista from behind with a chair and then while Legacy is going three on one with Triple H, have Shane hit the Van Terminator on Trips. Orton takes the belt and Legacy has Shane as a mouth piece and a McMahon as a backer.
Then we get Batista and Triple H teaming up against overwhelming odds for a while until Batista decides that because he's backing up Triple H he has a target on him and for what? So eventually we build to a triple threat title match with Ric Flair as special referee and make a massive deal about Evolution.
