CONTINUITY PROBLEM! Aang wasn't at the temple when the Fire Nation attacked and the Air Nomads were well...Nomads, they didn't have a kingdom. Other than that not much I can say, the teaser was just that a teaser, can't really say much.

Super cool show, I have high hopes for this. But I wouldnt take the teaser as any sort of continuity hint, they probably just wanted a cool one shot tease.

But this is a teaser trailer, This scene could take place anywhere in the movie or possible be a merging of two clips or possible it just for the teaser and will hold no barring on the show. I think it a pretty bad ass teaser trailer I mean they actually show the main character - Aang

Why is Aang a white boy? Seriously I know hollywood loves white kids, like Dragonball, That JEt-li/Jackie Chan abomination, and the upcoming King of Fighters (why is kyo a white kid?)
Is it that hard for asian actors to get a big part in a movie with prominent asian characters/asian influence?

Looks cool to me. But then, I've never watched the cartoon it comes from, so I'm not biased against any changes they make to the source material for this.

Is Azula in the film, she was always my favourite. Probably not because this movie is meant to be based on the first season, which Azula wasn't really in (except for 5 seconds in the season finale). She'll be in the sequels though. It's a trilogy. CONTINUITY PROBLEM! Aang wasn't at the temple when the Fire Nation attacked and the Air Nomads were well...Nomads, they didn't have a kingdom. Other than that not much I can say, the teaser was just that a teaser, can't really say much. I'm gonna guess that in the trailer he wasn't at the Air Temple, but more likely that island where he first saw Avatar Roku in Book One during the Solstice. Explains why there are candles and why he's being attacked (Zuko was chasing him.) /nerd rant.

Remember guys:
1) This is a trailer... and a teaser at that. Things can be decieving. 2) This is an adaptation of the cartoon, not an exact copy of every single scene and peice of dialouge.

Oh, I dunno, it may have to do with the fact that AANG ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A WHITE BOY IN THE CARTOON?! Seriously, I can understand the bitching for things like Dragonball and King of Fighters, but look at a picture of Aang. You cannot seriously tell me that he is Asian.

He does look white in the cartoon. I know he's not supposed to be, but that's pretty much how they draw him.
Ang looks like a dirty white boy! DIRTY WHITE BOY! OOOOH DIRTY WHITE BOY!

yes I can, he's got the asian skin color of slightly tan
It sort of bugs me that with Chinese source material, the cast will be filled with white People and indians

Most of the other characters are always drawn with "Asian eyes", but most of the time, Aang is shown with rounded eyes.

Joekishi, if you thought Aang looked wrong wait till you see Sokka, Katara, Zhao, Zuko, and Iroh.

One other little strike against this movie is that no one who did the choreogrphy for the cartoon and made sure the bending styles were distinct and based off of real Martial Arts are involved, and from what they've been able to elude to they are NOT happy about the movie.
