Xanataos is one of the best reasons to watch this show. The laid back villian that just waits patiently.

I didn't realize how old Doug was until this. If he was in highschool when this was big, that would put him at roughly 30-35. I totally thought he was like 25 or 26. Wow.

Either he figures out how to do something other than easy, lame jokes or he'll go right into RD Land *BANNED!*

In his Pokemon review, he mentioned he was a junior in high school when that show came out, which I think was around 97/98. Plus his age is listed as 26 on his Xomba profile, so my guess is he just made a mistake in this review. Either that or he's trying to be deliberately inconsistent.

That would make sense, because from what he's reviewed and what age group he talks about being from he seems about 2-4 years older then me. And I'm turning 23 in a week

It's the same reason why it's fine if the AVGN does a movie review or identifies some actual good video games every once and a while. It reminds us that they're actual critics of their chosen medium, rather than human gimmicks.

Honestly, I don't recall any of the reviews being particularly profanity laden from him, except for the one he did with the AVGN, who is pretty much always profanity laden.

Its pretty hard to diss Gargoyles, all things considered. It was one of the best products of its era.

I never saw the GOLIATH CHRONICALS, but it seemed to take what was cool and destroy it.
Is this show on DVD yet?

Yes, season 1 is out and season 2 volume 1, featuring the first half of the second season are out. Even though Goliath is the main character and most episodes revolve around him and should be since he's a cool character, I didn't like renaming it Goliath Chronicles. The episodes weren't as good either, a shame since they ended season 2 with the clock tower getting blown up, being exposed and then moving back to their castle with Xanatos. My favorite episodes though have to do with Avalon and when King Arthur comes back and beats Macbeth.

Another positive rewview and I liked it. Gargoyles was one of my favourite shows in the past. I think I should see it again.

I freaking HATED Goliath Chronicles- a lot more than he did.
The original was awesome, though.

I never got into Gargoyles, but I liked this review. I like him giving us some variety in his tone to reviews. I found this one very enjoyable.

The reason the Goliath Chronicles were so bad and different was because Greg Weisman and the writing crew were all let go by Disney and a new crew took over. In the comics season 3 never happened, but unfortunatley due to Disney cock block with very expensive licensing rights not many of the comics have been able to get released.
