Seriously, how offensive were those blind tests that supposedly proved that Pepsi tastes better if for whatever reason you like to be blindfolded while drinking sodas (that's probably a fetish in Japan)? That's basically telling the customers that they're too dumb to figure out what they actually like. See, you really do prefer Pepsi! But Coke is somehow manipulating you into believing you prefer their drink! And you don't even notice it! Now stop pretending YOU know what YOU like! WE do! Well sorry Pepsi, but after many, many comparison, I still prefer Coke.
Now, on top of that, I don't know how ads for Pepsi are in your areas but recently over here, they started a new ad with some random stereotypical thugs advertising it. Now, as if the number of clichés crammed into that ad and the idea that teens automatically like anything that has thugs in it weren't annoying/offensive enough (oh, they grunt all the time for no reason, too), I also love how the performers actually say "If you don't try the new crazy taste new Pepsi, that means you're a loser!" Yeah, insulting the customers will totally make us want to buy your drinks. Now, if you don't mind, Pepsi, I'm off to drink better sodas made by companies that don't act like I have the brain of a retarded guinea pig and who don't insult me.
No seriously, what's up with Pepsi acting like we're freaking morons?

Honestly, not a big fan of cola.
Also, Pepsi, your company is over a century old. You aren't hip anymore, you are a classic. Take a cue from Budweiser, which embraced the age thing. One of my favorite sodas is named Cotton Club. Do I think it's not hip because it's named after a Jazz club in 1920s Harlem? No, I don't care. Granted, I think it's sad that most people are ignorant as the 1920s as the Golden Age of the Black American, but that's another story.

You should hear Lewis Black's bit on coke and pepsi. One of the bits he says is "Can someone please tell me why Coke and Pepsi advertise? Everyone has drank enough Coke and Pepsi, that they could piss it for a week. They should just send you a coupon, here's ten dollars, try our shit.

Actually, the reason for the Pepsi Challenge was because somebody figured out that in a sip test, Pepsi would taste better, because it was sweeter, and you use the part of your tongue that tastes sweetness when you sip. Therefore, if you were doing a sip test, Pepsi would have a distinct advantage over Coke, because it's a sweeter beverage.
What gets me about Pepsi is that they let Coke corner the market on the zero-calorie beverage demographic for like two , and then screwed it up by adding 18 different flavors to it. Meanwhile, Coke is raking in the profits with Zero by keeping it simple.

Coke and Pepsi both make water so bad...they won't even use it to make Coke and Pepsi.

I was at a bar a while back and some old guy had an empty coke can in hand... marched up to the bar, slammed it down, and yelled "Bartender, give me another coca-cola".
