His running mate in Memphis...Double J dammit!! Make WM 26 like WM 2 and hold it in 3 different places. Arizona, Memphis, and Philly. Memphis gets Lawler vs Jarrett obviously, as well as Orton vs R-Truth for the Smackdown World Title, and Shawn-Undertaker II....both men's final match ever! Arizona gets Cena vs Batista, as well as a 25 diva battle royal with a special concert by Pink during all the intros, and Triple H vs CM Punk for the Raw World Title. Philly gets a 4 way TLC match with Edge and Christian, The Hardys, The Dudleys, and champions Miz/Morrision for the tag belts, Tommy Dreamer vs Raven in Hell In the Cell for the ECW World Title, and Hogan vs Austin! Anything that puts 'Mania in Memphis, i'm all for it. That would probably be the only way we'd ever get it anyway...

I hate to say it, but even with a four hour show they are having a very difficult time finding time to do things like a tag team title unification match, an Intercontinental title match, and a diva segment with returning divas. With it seemingly being hard to find time for what could be called staples of WWE programming, I just don't like the idea of focusing time on the show for Lawler in 2010. Lawler could have easily been added to this year's Jericho's match or the Gimmick Battle Royal back in the other Houston Mania. If he wants to be in a Mania match at this point, he better be okay with something very short and inconsequential. He should have lobbied harder around 1993 to 1995.

Jim Carey could've been a modern day Zeus, becoming so close to his character that he wanted to avenge him in real life... Anyway, I know that Josh Matthews is a trained wrestler and just got his first chance to commentate on ECW last night. With about 3-4 months until WM, they could have him appear on Raw after King has a match (I'm there would be a feud he could fit in...) and mention how it feels right to be there. Then...he'd keep showing up. Matthews would start harassing King about when he's going to "Completely retire" from wrestling so a young announcer like himself can call the new generation. King, obviously, wouldn't want to quit just because Matthews told him too. Matthews becomes a backstage interviewer for Raw. Every once in a while when they go to the back he says, "Coming to you from backstage instead of the announcer's booth where I belong..." as he continues to badger King. Finally, Matthews appeals to the King's fighting side. He challenges him to a match. Winner commentates Raw! King laughs. Why would he face another announcer when he can still face other wrestlers? He tells Matthews to save himself a beating and give up. Therefore, Matthews sets himself up a squash match on Raw, beating up some developmental guy to show he does have some skill. When King still won't accept, Matthews does another match, this time: commentating over the microphone like King used to do when building to his match with Bret Hart. King still laughs him off. With WM coming up, Matthews gets desparate. Shouldn't a young announcer be calling WM? Shouldn't he get a spot that he obviously deserves? Matthews gets a win against a mid-carder and calls King out again. "Am I at your level yet? Huh?" King just shakes his head causing Matthews to attack him. King controls until security breaks it up. Finally, Raw GM Vickie Guerrero steps in. If King won't accept, then she'll just make the match to stop all the fuss. So, live on Raw, it'll be Josh Matthews vs. Jerry Lawler, winner is Raw's commentator. The match happens. Josh cheats. Lawler counters. Josh cheats some more. Lawler counters. Finally, there is a ref bump and Josh hits Lawler with brass knucks. Lawler kicks out. Matthews "accidentally" falls on the ref to knock him back out. Matthews grabs a chair, but Lawler counters and levels the plucky young announcer...as the ref calls for the bell. Jerry is DQed and Matthews is Raw's announcer. Matthews gloats over a few weeks until it is announced that while Matthews is Raw's commentator, Jerry Lawler will be in the booth at WM. Matthews is irate. He 'earned' his spot! He deserves to call WM! Therefore, he makes another challenge. He beat King once, he can do it again. At WM. The first match on the card. Winner calls WM! Of course, the only way King will agree is if Matthews agrees to put up his Raw spot, which occurs. Then, King and Matthews have a match at WM ending with Jerry nailing the piledriver on the biggest stage of them all and goes to the booth. From there, Matthews could either go back to ECW to sulk, go to ECW to become a regular member of the roster, go back to interviewing, or perhaps even go to SD. Fantasy booking gold. That would be awesome!

A match against his son wouldn't be so bad actually. Have Brian come out looking washed up and blaming his dad for letting him get fired from the WWE and ruining his life, like father like son. Have Brian taunt him for weeks and eventually set up a match for Mania. If anything, the fact that Lawler never acted like he was Brian's father on camera and, apparently often enough off camera, could be a source of dispute. "I could've been huge, DAD! I could've been the Prince of Memphis! But, you never let me wear the crown..." Would anybody really care about that match? I mean, Jerry Lawler has never been one of the mainstream legends(outside of Memphis), and Brian Christopher was only over for a brief time with Scotty Too Hotty, and more notably Rikishi. I would suggest he takes on a celebrity to bring star power to the show, but who would is the real question.

No, but they pay $55 bucks to see Kid Rock waste 20 minutes. Seriously... why wasn't the tag team title match on instead of that crap? Because vince thinks wrestling fans would rather an endless concert over wrestling.
