Jeff isn't leaving, and he also isn't putting Punk over. Also, Punk WILL NOT be the top face on Smackdown. It just won't happen, cause he isn't over enough to hold that position. Yeah you are right....I heard this one a thousand times. And no matter who this comment was a made about, may it be Edge, Eddie G, Brock Lesnar, or even that Rocky Maivia guy, everytime someone tells me that a Wrestler won`t make it, they were right. Man I wonder what these guy did after not getting over.

I'm not sure what your arguing here. I didn't say Punk wasn't over or that he won't make it. I said he is not over enough right now to be at the front of Smackdown. Maybe someday, but at this point Punk is not over enough to take over Jeff's position. Especially at Judgment Day.

I checked it and the wording is sufficient. I explained myself in the second post so it doesn't matter anyways.
Point is: the fantasy of Punk beating Jeff hard at Judgement Day, or becoming the top guy on Smackdown is just that..fantasy. He might someday, but not as soon as next week. He hasn't been established enough yet.
Punk desperately needs a big feud and PPV win over Edge to really get over. Cashing in his briefcase and pinning an already beaten Edge is not the way to do it (case in point: last year)

I think Jericho is ending up with a title though very soon. Yep. I don't know if it will be a triple threat, four way or what, but Jericho is the next Champion IMO.

Jeff isn't leaving, and he also isn't putting Punk over. Also, Punk WILL NOT be the top face on Smackdown. It just won't happen, cause he isn't over enough to hold that position. This is a big problem that's examplary of WWE's attitude towards booking young guys. We'll throw a bunch of guys on a show, and if some midcarder we haven't given anything to at all, storyline-wise, isn't able to hang with Undertaker in terms of crowd reactions, then screw him, he's not over and thus not deserving of a top spot. Okay, so Kofi Kingston can't be the top face on Raw right now with his current status, WWE will accept that as he'll "never" be top face. But why not? Why not, oh, say... build him up like the main eventers they had had to be built up before they were "over" enough to carry a brand? Guys don't just debut over and ready for a top spot. It's not like magic or anything. Main Eventers don't just appear out of thin air, as much as WWE wishes they would. They have to be built up. And I'll give it to them - they've been trying lately, finally, to do this with guys like Miz, Punk and MVP, and it's actually going quite well. And Punk may not be as over as, say, Jeff Hardy or John Cena, but he's never given much mic time or storylines to go with, and yet, he's VERY much over, just from being himself. I can't help but think, god, if WWE just worked with this guy, they'd have something special. Last week's Smackdown was a good example. Verebal sparring with Jericho and Edge, a VERY good match with Edge with backstory to it...this is what they need to do. No he isn't top face, and he won't be for a while, but if he's not top face (or, to please the smarks, top heel) by Wrestlemania 26, then WWE went wrong somewhere, not CM Punk. To address the OP, it'd be a good heel turn but I think it'd be a waste of the Briefcase. And I don't see it happening.

I agree with you. I'm talking in terms that, right now, he can't hold that position. If they would give him a big feud (Edge), he could easily be the top guy.

I apologize if I got a little bit too forward and rude with you. It seems we were thinking the same thing all along. BTW, the Arthur avatar is there for a reason. Sometimes I channel him a little too much and it shows.

Sorry, Jeff shouldn't even be the champion again for as long as it'd take Punk to pin him. Hi, my name is overness. Hello, Mr. Overness. You seem to have never met Punk. I'm still hoping whenever he cashes in the bank he shouldn't have won that he loses. The guy needs to stay near the IC belt where he should be.

To continue this cute little game, Mr. Overness aparrently has a excretory matterty memory if he thinks he's never met Punk.

Hello, My name is Passion. Jeff Hardy has never met me, he gets burned out just by being an Upper Midcarder.

Hello, My name is Passion. Jeff Hardy has never met me, he gets burned out just by being an Upper Midcarder. Hardy shouldn't be the World champion either, I don't think. I don't see the problem with actually trying to give Edge a title run for more than a month for a change.
