I don't thgink Blue meanie would bust open his own stiches.... A good point. They use staples when ordinary sutures aren't enough. I doubt he'd mess with that. At least I hope he wouldn't. And it smells like a set-up for a PPV. It may be, it may not be, but it stinks like it.

JBL/Meanie? Yeah, that'll get a ton of buys...

...
Wow.
Honestly, I feel like this has to be something big, especially by that ending with Heyman. I don't read WWE.com all that often but I don't think this kind of thing happens often, where they mention shoot incidents and blah blah...
I'm thinking that in exchange for NOT suing WWE or considering legal action, Meanie either got his job back, or maybe just for a few paydays...
or there is going to be another ECW sometime featuring JBL vs The Blue Meanie.

Phoenix, is there a reason you always have so much extra space in your posts? It's kind of annoying when you're trying to go through long posts and whatnot... though if it's not something you're doing on purpose, eh, whatever.

Convenient that neither the cameras nor anybody besides JBL caught this shoot promo.

I love that JBL claims not to remember Meanie from his WWF stint. If that's not a work, then maybe all the alcohol has affected JBL's memory. Blue Meanie/Goldust vs. Bradshaw/Faarooq was done about a half-dozen times at house shows in '99.
Also, this is the Blue Meanie we're talking about. He doesn't exactly blend into the woodwork.

I think the fight was real.
But the aftermath WREAKS of a work meant to cash in on the real life incident!
(note to WWE: You should also do this whole "worked wrestling angle to cash in on a real life incident" thing with Matt Hardy and Edge RIGHT NOW!!)

I can speak on what I know as Meanie's friend.
The fight was real...there's simply too many people who saw it. What I think is the WWE is trying to swerve people into thinking it was a work, cause JBL is full of s***.
As for there being some sort of PPV, I honestly don't know.

By the way, just spoke to Meanie and he was interviewed for the WWE piece, and quoted accurately in his words.
