I honestly don't know because I was in gradeschool when everything went down and don't really understand why it was called the trail of the century
and I remember for some reason that my 6th grade teacher showed my class the jury verdict

It was Professor Plum, in the conservatory with a candlestick. I think his son did it and that OJ was just covering up for him. Shows what you know Encyclopedia Brown, it was Carmen Sandiego. This is the first I've heard anything about the son. Why do you say that?

The reason they went not guilty was because the whole thing was a circus and they wore the jury out. When the case finally got to the jury they had two choices. If O.J. is found guilty they go to the second phase of the trial which is sentencing. While I do not think it would have been the circus the first part was it still would have been a circus. If O.J. is found innocent though that's it the jury goes home to their families and the circus is over.

He's not guilty, but he did it.

Sure there's a chance he didn't do it, but his life since then has pretty much sealed it for him. The book, the arrest, trying to make his girlfriend look like his dead wife...basically he's doomed himself because he's, you guessed it:

This is where my dad's advice kicks in
I don't know the details, but what my dad says is this:
They asked him if he killed his wife, he said no. This is probably true However, they never asked him if he got someone to off her for him
I'm just quoting him

The defense's main defense was that Mark Ferman once said the n word and that leather gloves that were designed to fit OJ's hand perfectly didn't fit after being outside for a while. Ferman? Hes a racist. Its a racist name... "Ferman? German? Sounds racist to me!" But seriously, there is a pic of the dude in black face as a kid. Should have been a sign.

Eh, he probably did it, but if the investigation wasn't lead and prosecuted by Wiggum and Hutz, maybe he would have been found guilty. We have a winner. I know people since then have said "he bought his freedom" because of his legal team. And to a point, theyre right because.... like it or not, his team did their jobs, while the prosecution simply did not.

You cannot even CONTEMPLATE writing a book called " If I Did It" that describes, in detail, how you would have hypothetically killed your wife unless you either seriously considered doing it or actually did it. I hear the original title of the book was "Plan B".

If the LAPD had this elaborate plan to plant evidence and frame OJ for the murder, why would they have Mark f***ing Fuhrman be the one to find the key evidence? That was a massive stroke of luck for the defense that Fuhrman was the one to find it. Also Judge Ito wasn't the best judge to preside over the case. He initially ruled that the defense couldn't ask Fuhrman about prior use of racial slurs, unless there was evidence he planted the glove. And of course he changed his mind.

Every last bit of evidence points to O.J. And if for some insane way he didn't literally do it, he was involved and knows who did. How the prosecution and jury let it slip through their hands is beyond me. Although racial tensions did play a role as well.

Incompetent judge...prosecutors more concerned with playing to the omnipresent cameras than with actually gaining a conviction...all of them media whores. OJ couldn't have asked for a better scenario.

I think they had enough evidence as it was to get him, but went overboard with adding "sugar" to it. Ferman didn't help. From the brutality of it, it seems like a crime of passion. So 'Ol Juicy probably did it himself.

Yes. He was convicted in a civil trial and anyone that writes a book about how you would hypothetically kill your wife is warped. The reason why he was never convicted in the trial was because of the LAPD ballsing is up big time and to prevent race riots at a very fraught time for race relations in LA.

The DNA evidence pointed to him, as did most the other evidence However, his lawyers were fantastic, the prosecution was anything but, and it was the perfect storm to get him a not guilty verdict.
