I am convinced that Wilford Brimley is immortal. It's because he always eats Quaker Oats Oatmeal while out in a boat waiting the aliens to come and give him his diabetic supplies. Seriously, yeah, what Faustian pact did this guy make? He's already outlived most of the rest of the cast of Cocoon. And Cocoon 2.

Of all the wrestlers that had such an impromptu death the one you think would have died about 8 years ago is still living. Jake hit rock bottom and just dropped off the face of the earth so many times. I questioned whether he was still alive or not at times.

This is also a bit maudlin, but there was a spell last year when I clicked on this forum everyday I expected to see "Bobby Heenan RIP". He just seemed to be in such a bad way. I'm so glad that he got through the worst and seems to be doing nicely. I was even more glad when I saw him at the Hall of Fame this year.

John McCain. That guy saw some intense stuff in Viet Nam and now he's 70 something. How he kept from breaking I'll never know. That guy's got some awesome genes: I actually like her more than her father and that's the most I'd say without getting this thread locked.

Every time I think David Attenborough is dead, he makes another documentary.

I might have the crown jewel of this thread....
Did you folks know Shirley Temple is still alive? Toni was as freaked out as I was when I told him. I am pretty sure she's in her 80s.

Bruce Vilanch, seriously that guy is 60 and is morbidly obese. Not a good combination at all from a statistical standpoint.

I had no idea she was still alive. Turns out she's 81. And not so much surprised that he's alive, but that Leslie Nielsen is in his 80s, which means he was in his 60s during the run of Airplane and The Naked Gun movies.

Keith Richards. He's done enough drugs to kill a small country yet somehow he's still alive. (Although the fact that he cannot be killed by conventional weapons helps). This and Jake Roberts are the only two answers.

Mickey Rooney.
Not only is he almost 90, but he seems to be pretty energetic whenever he pops up.

Sorry if this seems political, but I'm still surprised former Presidents George H W Bush and Jimmy Carter are still alive. They're both pretty much the same age, but I see one sky diving and hunting and the other skiing and building homes
