I just recently purchased a SNES along with 2 controllers, and fifteen games for $20 from a friend of mine. Unfortunately, most of the games suck. I got a bunch of crap like AHH Real Monsters and Beavis and Butthead. Games that I didn't really like as a kid, and would hate now.
The only game I really cared for in the bundle was Super Mario World. Started a new game a couple days ago, and have already beaten every level, gotten all the secret exits, and beaten the special world. I really didn't remember the game being so easy to beat, but it's done with now...so I need something new to play.
The only place in town that still sells SNES games seems to have nothing but old sports games, which I could care less about. And the good RPG's are running for atleast $20-$30 on ebay.
So, I need some suggestions. What are some good SNES titles that I could find online for cheap? Is there a better place to buy SNES games than ebay? Crappers, help!!

If you have a Wii and Wi Fi go to the shop channel and they have 41 SNES games for download.

Yeah, buying SNES games online is pretty expensive.
Best bang for the buck is yard sales, although chances can be slim to none of findng anything, let alone something decent.
You can get decent deals with flea markets/mom & pop game shops as well (sometimes their pricing is as whack as ebay, though).

UGH! Back in 1997, I bought that on clearance for $15 (two years after I originally bought it, beat at, traded it in.) Never really got a change to play it a second time, due to new RPGs coming out and not-so-new RPG I hadn't quite played yet, so I just traded it in for about $10.UGH UGH UGH "YOU FOOL!"

Actually, most of the Looney Tunes games are good. Especially B-ball.

Sunset Riders is very fun as well and can normally be found pretty cheap.
Think of it as a Old West Contra.

If you actually DO go the Looney Tunes route, the Road Runner game (I think it's called Death Valley Rally) was pretty awesome. Like Sonic, but you're a bird instead of a hedgehog.
Otherwise, can't go wrong with Chrono Trigger, Yoshi's Island, Kirby Super Star...the list goes on and on really.

Helpful suggestions so far but.... I don't have a Wii, otherwise I'd be all over the Virtual Console stuff. The only two systems that I own at the moment are a PS2 and a SNES because I'm poor Maximum Carnage was a fantastic game. However, I'm afraid that I played it so much when I was a kid that I wouldn't have much fun with it now. I'd still pick it up if I could find it for cheap, but so far I haven't even seen it on ebay or any of the other sites I've looked at. Earthbound and Chrono Trigger are both awesome games, along with Mario RPG, but they're all really overpriced every time I find a copy online. I can't justify paying 30-40 bucks for a game that I've already played through and beaten, especially since all three of those games are still pretty fresh in my memory. However, I'd snatch them all three up in a heartbeat if I could find them for less than $20. Revolution X was a really awesome game to me as a kid, but I still own the Playstation version, so I'd say there's no need in getting it for the SNES. So that leaves us with Super Punch Out! which I may be able to borrow from one of my buddies here shortly. Super Castlevania IV which I'm really interested in despite the fact that I've never played a Castlevania game (other than the crappy one for the N64), some Looney Tunes games and Goof Troop...not too sure about those, but I could give them a try. I really appreciate all the suggestions, but unfortunately it's beginning to look like the only SNES games that I didn't play to death when I was younger are some RPGs that are gonna cost a little more than the average SNES games. I guess that's fine, I can just buy them one by one I suppose. So on the subject of RPGs, what are the best ones aside from Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Link to the Past? (PS I just had the brilliant idea of buying the Playstation/PS2 versions of the SNES Final Fantasy games and Chrono Trigger....I'd probably save a ton of money but would run the risk of buying a scratched disc) (PPS this post has way too many parenthesis)

That's what Los Gatos Banditos is...imo, it has better controls as well (Death Valley is good but it can be a pain in the ass trying to control)

For all my nostalgia gaming needs I go to Video Game Heaven in Chesapeake, VA. It's about 45-60 minutes from my house, depending on traffic and they have a huge selection of classic games & systems. Try contacting them and see about possible shipping options if you don't think you'll be in the neighborhood...ever... As for games, hmmm... Zelda: Link to the Past Super Punch-Out! Burning Pro Wrestling (Import, cheesy graphics, sooooo worth it) Super Mario Allstars (I think that's the name of it, it's a compilation of the NES Super Mario games) Final Fantasy II, III (Not Mystic Quest. MQ is crap, utter crap - like 4 hours of gameplay) Megaman X I can't think of any others right off the top of my head, but I know there's lots of great ones out there for the system, I wish I knew where I put mine now.

You can never go wrong with the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. They're still my all-time favorite platformers.
