As I've been watching the Raws from this period lately. There were quite a few leftover acts that didn't get a big reaction like DOA, Los Boricuas, Southern Justice etc

That was great. Imagine two lower card tag teams being that over today. Ridiculous.
Also, props to John Tenta for being an absolute trooper and giving it his all in that gimmick.

Was that Cornette and Shane O'Mac in the commentary booth? Yes it was. This video just furthers my belief that the WWE made a mistake by not making Hornswoggle, Boogeyman and Khali a stable when they had the chance.

Show us someone who WASN'T over during the Attitude Era. Someone other than Meat. Post-Headbangers, yes. Although I mark for Beaver Cleavage.

Was that the Undertaker at the beginning? Gotta love the compelling commentary from Shane and Cornette.

Does anyone have the music to the oddities. Not the ICP version, but the original version with the Jackal? It's in the clip.

I still wish I could find the clip of Brood Edge trying to steal the Cartman doll. The "evil' look on his face while he scurried off with the little guy was hysterical IMO. As for this video, good stuff.

WWE missed the boat on the Shane/Cornette commentary team.

I still remember that line by Cornette, "he wasn't fat or big-boned, he was stuffed! Cartman is down!"
And wow, you can really tell the WWF was catered more to adult humor at that point in history. Just looking at the crowds in those videos compared to today.

WWE missed the boat on the Shane/Cornette commentary team. On Cornette/Ross yes, but Shane sucked big time. He was would yell non-stop the entire show. "OH, A HAMMERLOCK! LOOK AT THAT!" I wanted him to shut up. And yeah, the Oddities were over big time because they actually were allowed to get their characters over. Ever since WCW died, Vince really forgot what saved his ass from bankruptcy. WWE's undercard in 1998-2000 was fun to watch as they had character and weren't bland molds of the same old shit.

I liked them til they brought in ICP. What's funny is their fanbase probably doesn't even know they did this since at some point you turn 16 and outgrow them.
