This man is one of my absolute favorite Japanese wrestlers to have ever lived. Why does he not have more admirers here? He can play it all, and he has the "look" in a way few Cruiserweight Champions have had. Plus, his Asian mist was incredible, as were his excellently named and executed moves. Does anyone know if he is actually pursuing a journalism career now that he's out of WWE? (I read that info on Wikipedia)
I would buy a Tajiri shirt in a heartbeat.
LONG LIVE TAJIRI!

Isn't he working regularly in HUSTLE(I know he was at one point)?
I think he is a great wrestler, and I wish ROH could get him to do a show or two.

He was pretty big during his ECW days as far as the general public goes I think.

Tajiri is one of the few WWE crusierweights I'd buy as world champion. All his tag teams were great. His kicks were set up so well if you asked me to believe he could knock out the Big Show, I'd buy it. Hell, I'd love to see a vignette where he's practicing kicking by kicking a tree and at the end it with the tree falling.

Tajiri was lotsa fun to watch. Especially his matches with Super Crazy in ECW.

I loved him.. His downfall, if there was one, was that his big submission was illegal. If that could have been his finish it would have been awesome

Good to see other people mark out for Tajiri. I've always thought this guy was awesome. I would have bought him as a good U.S. champion back on his Smackdown days.

I've been a Tajiri mark ever since he grew the beard and started wearing the long pants. I thought he was okay when he first came to ECW, but a bit stale. Then he grows a beard and suddenly he's this vicious bastard that literally kicks the living hell out of you. He's awesome. Also has one of the best brainbusters I've ever seen, it's a shame WWE never let him use it.

He definitely found his niche after adopting the Muta-patterned gimmick. He was a consistently solid worker with a lot of charisma, and he and Super Crazy really complimented each other's style.

I liked it in ECW when he would kick his opponents into next week then sit on the mat and mock them.
Is his wife still stuck at home? Did she ever get her drivers license?

I think most everyone liked him here but the reason they don't talk about him much is because he hasn't been in WWE for quite some time now. I wish he would come back because he was a very solid Japanese and wrestler in general.
I doubt WWE would push him though. They never really pushed him all that well when he was there except for when he was wrestling cruiserweights.

Since the real ECW is no more and WWE does not care to use him properly, I'd like it if Tajiri either returned to CZW or wrestled in Japan.

They never really pushed him all that well when he was there except for when he was wrestling cruiserweights. They pushed him relatively well in the Invasion as one of the few ECW guys who stayed loyal to WWE, and he managed to snag the US title then. He also was pushed pretty well as CW and Tag champs with Eddie. One of my favorite "Uhh, okay" tag teams. I guess it probably held him back that he was pretty much a no go for promos.

I would really like to see Tajiri in ROH if only for a one shot appearance. I used to love him in ECW and my friend and I still talk about when Taz put barbed wire in his mouth.

tajiri ruled. when they started pushing cruisers like rey and the hurricane to the midcard i was so expecting tajiri to follow suit, but for some reason he was always stuck doing cruiserweight opens or teaming with rhyno, which is something no one should have to go through. he was a little guy, but at the same time could beleivably kick anyone's ass, plus he was actually quite over.
