anyone else feel he's vastly improved in ROH this year of 2006 & 2007?

Yeah, his matches are great. But the crowbar doesn't do it for me as a FIERCE submission move in sports entertainment. It may be a legit painful submission, but it doesn't scream "POWER!" like even the kayfaybe heavy Horns of Aries.
But yeah, I really have enjoyed Joey Fatone's matches over the past year.

I really like Brent Albright. So much so that I was stupid enough to think ROH was pushing him to a World Title little over a year ago. I loved the hooded figure entrance he had alone before BJ Whitmer screwed things up. I also loved it when he was a passed over as legit scary and that you should NOT screw with this man. They started putting him on the mic and that just kinda ruined that image for me ... even though, like I said, I'm a huge fan. He's also hella appreciative of the support he gets from fans outside the ring, and as many times as I've seen him display that, I'm led to believe it's genuine. I love to see it when the boys show love for what they do in the ring.

Isn't he like a bland babyface who comes out to that song that I heard on Smackdown once?

I think him being put with the Hangm3n really stunted his growth as a big force in ROH. But really, no one came out smelling all that great after Faction warfare.

I don't see how anyone could say he was bad. He is like a smark's wet dream. he doesn't have much charisma and can wrestle like a technical master.

I don't watch ROH, but he was horrible in OVW and horrible on Smackdown!....what's he doing differently now? I dunno what OVW you were watching...but as an AVID OVW fan for going on 10 years... I have to say that ALbright is one of the best guys there in 05. He was part of my favorite match of 2005... not OVW match... Wrestling match total of 05... and there were a lot of good matches, but Albright vs Punk vs Doane was freakin awesome. I was a hardcore albright mark before he came to the WWE, and was pissed off when they pissed him away. I love him in ROH and hope he reaches his full potential!

This guy gets a lot of hate on the ROH board and I don't get why. He's a damn good wrestler thats capable of putting on great matches, he might not be oozing charisma but the promo he made after Pearce threw a fireball in his eyes about how his kids were too afraid to hug him was pretty damn good. So, he's more than capable of putting on a decent promo. I'd take him as a main-eventer over Erick Stevens.

Sounds like the Albright hater was simply rolling the dice that no one in the thread would have ever seen Albright in OVW. I gotta go with the quoted post on this one ... Albright was a whole heck of a lot more legit in OVW than 9 out of 10 guys and gals that have been called up before AND since he was there. Not saying he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but the guy can go. And to clarify something I just thought of, I did say the promo stuff was a little beyond him and holds back his intimidating demeanor, but that's when he has to fit into a niche. He does have the fire to go Shane Douglas/ECW Rhyno-style ballistic, but I know ROH doesn't exactly like overuse of such language. (Disclaimer: Not saying he can spin words and cut a promo like Douglas by any means, I'm just saying he's effective with how he throws around the "sailor talk" and that would enhance his promos. He's seems very reserved in roles on the mic relegated to him.)
