They won't be doing the alcoholism in this film, but Tony will still fall onto dark times.

I never wondered that becasue he''s Mickey freakin Rourke. Well, me too, but when people first saw pictures of his exo-skeleton, some comments were to the tune of, "How is he suppose to hold his own with Iron Man? He has all that exposed skin! Iron Man can just plug him full of holes!" Well now he can't exactly do that, cause as that trailer shows, the way he uses the whips also gives him a defense.

Both Whiplash and War Maching look fantastic!
I can't wait to see this movie!

Also...wasn't Sam Rockwell supposed to be a bad guy in this film(albeit the second tier one)? He's schilling guns to Don Cheadle in the trailer....all of them, by the way, going into the War Machine suit.
So...what the hell?
Then again, he's a weapons dealer, he sides with the highest bidder....
Hmm....
Gotta see the final version now...

After the trailer, I'm starting to think War Machine is gonna be a government weapon to take down Iron Man. So, maybe that could have something to do with it...or something.

I could see that happening. After seeing Tony piss off those senators at his hearing, I wouldn't be shocked if the government decided to fight fire with fire, took a prototype suit, and hired the services of Sam Rockwell's character to outfit it with weapons. I predict, however, that the film will end with an epic battle of Iron Man and War Machine vs. Whiplash.

Hell, throw in Black Widow with Whiplash.............okay, that might not work well. EDIT: Oh, and working with War Machine will teach Iron Man the value of teamwork, which in turn will lead to him going along with Fury's Avengers proposal.

Because hell, we can already tell Whiplash is going to kick Iron Man's ass in one on one fights, so he'll need War Machine to beat Whiplash.

Looks pretty damn good. I'm a huge fan of the first one, and fully support Marvel Studios. It's so nice to finally see a comic company in control of their own movies.
Whiplash does look pretty cool so far, although I'm hoping they move him more towards his S&M gear from the comics later in the movie. I just think he's missing a bit of supervillain flare in these early shots.
Black Widow looks pretty good so far, now I'm mostly concerned with Scarlett's Russian accent. She's a good actress, so I'm probably concerning myself over nothing.
And then there's Rhodey, who I am so happy is being played by an actor I actually like this time around. I have a feeling that War Machine is going to be f***ing awesome.
All in all, next summer can't get here fast enough.
