She has a lumberjack match against Kong for the Knockouts title. that she is too injured to wrestle in. Hence the work. The fact that TNA announced this on their site before anyone else makes me suspicious.

The same sites that have "scoops" about Edge's beard and anything the Hogan clan does? Yeah, pretty much.

Remember when Nash couldn't wrestle against Sabin right before the PPV.
Christy doesn't want to job.

...because the wrestling news/rumour mill sites would know and report anything regarding Christy Hemme's health before her employers would. The same sites that have "scoops" about Edge's beard and anything the Hogan clan does? Yeah, pretty much. The same sites that report mostly excretory matter as well. Im sure if WWE cares to report about Edge's beard they would have had it on their website before these sites could say "CM Punk has heat". I don't think somebody seeing Adam Copeland with a beard is a huge inside source as well, somebody seeing or hearing right away that Christy Hemme is injured in a training session wouldent be the same thing as seeing Adam Copeland at an airport or even on the street with a beard and getting word on it or having news about the paparazzi ridden Hogan family. Terrible examples. TNA has a PPV tommorow. Christy gets injured im sure they were alerted right away on the issue, esspicially when she is training with other TNA employees like AJ Styles. If it's said that she will won't be cleared to perform, they arent going to sit on their hands untill the match with Kong and say "oh well, Hemme can't compete tonight, so and so is her replacement" If we were weeks away from the PPV, im sure the news sites might have something up before TNA, but right now TNA had to announce that she isnt going to be at the show as Genesis is 24 hours away. Im not saying it can't be a work, but try not to complain about it untill it plays out.

My point is that they'll report on any little thing. All they have is this blurb form TNA, they don't have any other details. I'm just sceptical, is what I'm saying.

Other details? She hurt her neck, and she needs surgery. What more do you want? Which vertebrae happened to break?
And its a PPV. If they don't announce it beforehand, people will complain about the bait and switch.
Damn if you do, damn if you don't.

If this is true then I hope Christy recovers soon.
I guess they will probably replace her with either ODB or Roxxi.

Perhaps a good thing. Not good that she's hurt (if legit), of course, but I was really worried she would get the belt.
So who steps in? I'd like the chick from Impact this week, but not likely after a squash. They probably would have announced a big name guest in advance, so I think that's unlikely. Roxxi has no credibility after the last few months. Taylor Wilde is the only one I could think of.
Hey, maybe they could bring back the former Miss TNA, Bruce. Title unification!
For what it's worth, Roxxi, OBD and Cheerleader Melissa all wrestled for JAPW last night. With Sara Del Rey, LuFisto, Portia Perez and co, it kinda shows up the Knockouts...

blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=88000006&blogID=463068554 Sunday, January 11, 2009 Injured Boooo! So yes, it is true and unfortunately not a work... sorry, I really wish it was! I have two herniated disks in my neck. The doctors want me to have surgery right away but I found an alternative solution that could possibly get me back even quicker, woohoo! It is called NCR (neuro cranial realignment). I went to Seattle for a week to basically have rods shoved up my nose and into my head where they blew up a ballon to move my Sphenoid Bone (your temple bone) which apparently alines your entire body. Yeah, it was the weirdest feeling and grossest sounds I have ever felt and heard. My head moving and a lot of crunching... EWWWW! Anyways when all was said and done it made me an inch taller, straightened out my scoliosis and lordosis a ton and even my ears that were pretty crocked lol! My bones will continue to move for another month. The whole point to take all the pressure off those disks to let them heal on their own... come on lil guys heal hehe! To be honest this has been going on a while and I just didn't know what it was, my body would give me as many matches as I needed to get though and then sometimes my neck would completely lock up and I would get numbness in my arms and legs... but I kept going and refused to stop until after a day of some heavy training when AJ "caught" me in some pain and basically told me we wouldn't continue training until I got it checked out (thank you AJ, I can be a bit stubborn and invincible). So I went and got an MRI that revealed the little buggers! I desperately wanted to still wrestle and at least do my match at Genesis. It crushed me to be told no but I know that TNA is protecting me and I plan on having on hell of a career here... so if that means stopping for a millisecond then so be it... cuz Im coming back with more HEMME fire than EVER!! Thank you soooo much for all of your support XOXO, Christy

I should write Christy Hemme a letter.
Dear Hemme:
Can I touch your butt?
Signed: RT
PS: have you ever played the trumpet?

I should write Christy Hemme a letter. Dear Hemme: Can I touch your butt? Signed: RT PS: have you ever played the trumpet? This is why we love you, RT. That's great for her that she's working so hard and seems so committed, but, damn, see how easy it is to get hurt in this business? Your body just gets so much wrong with it so quickly.
