During his JOB squad days Holly did have a better arsenal of moves.
With his stiff style and hidden wrestling ability i can see him having moderate success in Japan, maybe as part of a tag team but still he could make some good money.

Holly was fired? I just can't keep track of who works for WWE anymore. I mean, see what happens when Vince isn't onscreen?

Where's the petition to have him NOT sign?
How about a petition for Elijah Burke. He's the only released WWE guy I think TNA should invest in.

Exactly. If they actually wanted to capitalize on the recent WWE firing spree, they'd be begging Elijah Burke to sign with them and wouldn't bat an eye at Bob Holly. ...You sure? This is the same company that bought in Mongo McMichael for a PPV. I didn't see anything wrong with that, they were in Chicago, his old stomping grounds where he is well known and had him there for one night as a ref, no big deal,IMO. Now if he was there every week, I could agree.

Didnt Val Venis have a tag team with Shane "Glamour Boy" Sewell in Puerto Rico? They were champs, bring him in. Shane Sewell was also tag champs with D-Lo Brown. So many possibilities.

TNA already seems to have enough injury problems without someone who tries to injure new people.
I'd be all for Burke and Venis though.

Only if TNA gets a Tough Enough series, then I could see Holly, AJ, Christopher Daniels, Nash, and Jackie Moore as the trainers. With special appearances throughout the 12 week series by Joe, Angle, Sting, Kong, Kaz, The Beautiful People, Kip and BG, Booker, Jarrett, Dixie Carter, and Team 3D. But when you get the opportunity to have Don West commentate Holly and Nash kicking your ass on video and you getting to keep it and take it home that's truly PRICELESS!

The way I see it, there's three categories of former WWE wrestlers when it comes to being in TNA.
- Category #1 - Big Name Talents. These are your Christians, your Kurt Angles, your Mick Foleys, and your Booker T's. Guys who were either a big name in WWE and/or elsewhere like ECW or WCW. These guys have a storied and well-known career, either being former World Champions or at least in the upper midcard or main event scene. Either way, they're popular and people give a snork about them. TNA would be dumb not to at least give them a call.
- Category #2 - Future Endeavors and Future Potential - These are the young guys that WWE never used properly or never got a sustained push when they could've been destined for so much more. Or they weren't great in the WWE but drastically improved since. Matt Morgan's the biggest example of this in TNA right now along with Daivari (Sheik Abdul Bashir), and Tomko was when he was still with TNA. Guys like Elijah Burke and Shawn Spears could theoretically be this. I think these are guys TNA can take a chance on and it'd probably work out.
- Category #3 - The Rejects. These are has-beens, or never-wases. They were popular maybe 10+ years ago, but never made it to the main event, and never really had many title reigns of significance. Their name value diminished long ago and they're long past their prime. I'd reserve this only for guys like Kip James, and for the brief time they worked for TNA, Test, Black Reign, and Rikishi among others. When these guys are hired, they give TNA a bad name and make them look desperate for any guys who left WWE, even when the majority of former WWE guys in TNA fit in #1 or #2.
Holly would easily fit in Category #3. I never want to see him in a TNA ring. Or an ROH ring. Or a WWE ring again.

I wouldn't mind too much, as long as he's nowhere near the main event.
Also: putting my vote with those who really don't care about a wrestler's real-life personality. So what if he's a jerk? All I care about is if he can entertain me for awhile.

The only time i ever found Hardcore Holly entertaining was when he was calling himself a "Super Heavyweight" and bringing the scale out to the ring with Crash. I actually looked forward to seeing him on TV then because i thought that was a "hardcore" gimmick to have. Once that stopped, i went back to not giving a damn about him.

Come on, TNA would look even more foolish if they brought in Hardcore Holly. He had a decent run in WWF as a member of the short lived hardcore division, and that's all he ever contributed to besides being a lite version of JBL.

Does TNA still deal with NASCAR? If yes, they should bring him back with his "Bob Spark Plugg Holly" gimmick and let him team with that guy from Against All Odds 2005 who did that ridiculous elbow drop finisher. LICENSE TO PRINT MONEY!!!
If not, he should stay the hell away from the Impact Zone.

I say NO to hardcore holly in TNA...
...however, I wouldn't mind seeing "Molly Holly" in the Knockouts division.
