The only good part was no Lisa Lampanelli. but how will we know what its like to be with a black guy? Well instead of having Lisa Lampenelli this year they had Robin Quivers. So it works itself out. Because instead of having an unfunny white woman with a thing for black men, they had an unfunny black woman with a thing for white men. So there. It all evens out.

I only caught the Gilbert Godfried part. I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Am I the only one who has never seen 90 percent of these people except on these roasts?

I'm watching the replay right now, and Greg Giraldo is cracking me up. I love a good insult comic and he was good tonight.

Okay, I finally saw the whole thing.
Joan Rivers was amazing at the end.

It was almost as bad as the Roast of Cheech & Chong that was on TBS awhile back.
I guess maybe because both Roasts had Brad Garrett.
Though I did enjoy the ending with Joan. "Cue the f***ing flag!"

I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. I think the whole roast concept is getting old for Comedy Central. How many times can we hear that Greg Giraldo is a nobody, Jeff Ross is jewish, and Gilbert Gottfried should open his eyes? Even so, the Benoit joke at the Flavor Flav roast will hold a special place in my heart.

I laughed at the Kanye's mom joke and the David Carradine joke. Then again, I don't think a joke is ever too soon or out of bounds.

A&E's Gene Simmons one was the best just for the fact that Andrew Dice Clay went on there with a big music entrance as a surprise and defended Carrot Top of all people. lol

I actually watched part of River's comedy special on Bravo since it is the channel right under comedy central for me and she was pretty good.

Joan Rivers is good at deception. I mistook her for 55 and I'm sure she's much older.

I guess I've mellowed, because i strongly feel some jokes should never be made and pretty much everything that is questioned as "too soon?" should be "never"

Kathy Griffen was a good roastmaster...well better than Uncle Jesse from Full House. I think Lisa Lampeneli is funny on those shows and I'm a little pissed she wasn't here for this one. The line-up was lackluster but as mentioned above Joan killed it in her reply. Dennis leary was the only one who I thought came close in thier reply. The roast of Pam Amderson was histerical and centered around my favorite sport: Pointing out how much of a no-talent, drug addled, sleezy, skanky, brutal bottom-feeding trashbag hoe Courtney Love is

It wasn't the best one they've ever done, but it was still good, especially Gilbert Gottfried.
