We are such 12 year old girls Seriously. I've seen a ton of guys posting in this thread about how they use Facebook in the 12 yr old girl way, like Kenny said, and it makes me a little sad. Social networking sites are like clubs, the only reason guys go is to meet girls! Clubs would be empty if women didn't like to dance. Why as guys do we even care about this stuff? Sorry, I just - I don't get it. I get why girls love SNSs, they're more social. They thrive, for the most part, on interconnectedness, but guys - come on! Anyway - continue enjoying your Facebook account, I just had like 6 people demand I join and it was really annoying because they know I don't use that crap. - I think Adam Sandler said it best in Funny People: MySpace Exec: So do you use MySpace? Sandler: No man, I f*** girls.

Seriously. [Some nonsense about men not being allowed to be social] Anyway - continue enjoying your Facebook account Will do I meant that too. I know people enjoy it - I just get annoyed when people tell me I should be on it - like I need to know what everyone's doing all the time. Its just not my thing, but I know how much others enjoy it. And its not that men aren't allowed to be social, its just that women are more oriented towards interconnectedness. I'm very social w/o Facebook. But there's a difference between being social and focused on interconnectivity.

I have no interest in meeting girls over the internet. I'm sure some people are like that though. Just not everyone.

I've never jumped on board the Facebook Bandwagon. I already have a myspace page that I rarely update, why would I want another one?
Anyway, I remember 2 friends getting pissy with one another in real life because one wouldn't friend the other one on Myspace because he wasn't cool enough. True story. And these men were 30 at the time ...

I signed up for facebook mainly because some members of my family asked me to. I barely use it and couldn't care less if anyone deleted me. I just find it funny when people I never got along with send me invites.

One of my clostest friends during early summer decided to delete me from both MySpace and Facebook for no apparent reason and gave no reason. I blame her boy toy who is a royal douche bag.

I use facebook and all those other social programs not only to promote my films and other projects, but because I actually...you know...enjoy it. I don't care if someone friends me or defriends me because there are always someone on there that I can talk to and have fun.
Now I know it's crazy to actually be on something and actually like it because that's not usually the way of the internet. And let's be honest, nobody here should be saying people on facebook can't get laid, because just by being on a wrestling forum (and one that shows the BAD stuff from wrestling) is already one huge strike against us with most (I said most) women.

No, not a facbook friend. Hate me if you must, but I think the whole social networking craze is stupid. (yes, I'm aware of the hypocrisy of that statement being made within a forum post) I see it as a "look at me" situation. I respect the ability to occasionally meet good people and the ability to keep in touch with estranged friends, but beyond that I see nothing of value. "I like this band" "No way! I like them too. We should be totally be friends based soley on that fact!" Whatever. Twitter is dumb too, btw. MikeThe Miz is going grocery shopping or trading lame insults with Jercicho on the internet? No way! That's so cool. Hate me if you must. Sell me if you can. (I like that. It's like Taz's line, only it makes sense)
