bad news for PS3 fallout fans. All DLC has been pushed back. They're hoping for a late September release. But, I guess a good thing out of it all is that they're releasing Broken Steel(the one that expands on the ending and raises the level cap to 30) first, as opposed to third. That f'n figures. Rub more salt in the wound, Bethesda. I mean, it's not like we're being made to feel like we bought the wrong system if we want to enjoy FALLOUT already, or anything.... And besides that, all of these have been out for XBOX for ages, and I have heard that Anchorage is a pretty weak addition, anyway. WHY DO WE PS3 OWNERS CONSTANTLY GET CRAPPED ON?!?!?! Seriously, it's enough to make me just sell the f***ing thing and use the money for a down payment on a 360. Name me one advantage that the PS3 can claim...one "exclusive" thing about it that makes 360 owners want to switch sides? There ISN'T anything, because it IS a f***ing second rate system that Sony is apparently content with KEEPING that way. Meanwhile, 360 owners get all this cool crap and add ons MONTHS AND MONTHS before PS3 gets a god damned "announcement" that that same add on is "coming soon". ARRRRGH! I'm sorry..I just have a lot of resentment inside me since I own one of these, and all of my friends own 360s so all I EVER f***ing hear is how lame my system is, and how great and good and awesome THEIR systems are....and you guys know something? I'm beginning to think that these guys are right. That I picked the wrong system, and that Sony DOES equal FAIL. Dammit...someone cheer me up about this...point me out some good things about Sony, cause I sure don't see any from where I'm sitting now. While I feel your pain, to say that PS3 has no worthwhile exclusives is terribly incorrect, and I know this for the fact that most of my friends are 360 owners, and there have been more than a few of the games I own that they're very jealous of.

My friends with 360s hate me, they all wish they had gone PS3 now, because of the exclusives.

Well it took almost two years of frustration and multiple attempts but...I FINALLY GOT MY PS3 ONLINE THIS MORNING! I can't tell you guys how many times I went through the whole set-up process only to run into that damn "this is a DNS error" message. I marked out when "Succeeded" appeared twice onscreen.
Even though I'm not into online gaming, I wanted an account so I could access the demos, add-ons, and other great stuff from the PlayStation Store. I've already downloaded the demos for Ghostbusters and Dead Space, as well as a Pittsburgh Pirates theme for the startup screen.
After playing the Ghostbusters demo, it's gonna suck that I have to wait until late-August to play the full game. (I plan on asking for it for my birthday. I could just buy it now, but this is the first time in a long while that I actually want stuff. I'm a tough person to shop for.)
EDIT: Here's my PSN ID: consoleclassic

Yeah man congrats. I'll be sure to add you when you post your ID.
Btw, what's the general consensus about 1943? I'm conflicted about whether I should buy it because I used to play 1942 a lot and was disappointed to hear about only one game mode and two maps.

It`s fun, but it`s not a game that you could play for 8 hours a day for the next 6 months. It`s very arcade-like, with infinite ammo, 3 classes and no unlockables.
I`d recommend it, but only as a bit of fun you can jump in and out of for half an hour or so.

It is lots of fun, and has 3 maps actually. And one that will be unlocked when the community gets 43 million kills (we were at 17 mil last I checked). It is very fun, but if you don't have Battlefield Bad Company, I Would suggest getting that instead, as it is a full game, you can get most places for 20 bucks.

I've seen more than a few 360 fans ask repeatedly about MGS4 and Uncharted, and as far as exclusives, LBP and Infamous are both great. I'll take that over earlier DLC for a few games. Neither system fails, both have their high points and low points. Fanboys may claim otherwise, but that's quite silly overall. In other news, just got platinum on Infamous. I thought the good side was a lot more satisfying than the infamous side.

I fancied my chances at the Platinum in inFamous until I realised how many orbs there were! The stunts couldn`t have been easy either. Well done.

I fancied my chances at the Platinum in inFamous until I realised how many orbs there were! The stunts couldn`t have been easy either. Well done. I got the majority of the shards throughout the course of the game. I only had to hunt for a dozen or so of them, and because I tend to explore quite a bit, there was only one that eluded me a lot. I got the stunts all on my second playthrough. There were a few I had to try a bit extra four, although most, as soon as I knew what I had to do, were just luck. Really, the trophy that was the most annoying until I learned the trick was killing 25 enemies while on a moving train. That was an absolute pain.

PSN has a bunch of games on sale, many half price. Check it out! Then play Battlefield instead.

Ok...just checked out the update...and I have to say...this was beyond, FAR FAR BEYOND weak.
Oh and to add insult to injury...I looked at the Premium Theme updates and guess what? We get more NCAA themes...but once a-f***ING-GAIN they're all Big Ten teams.
You know what, Sony? You can go suck a hot cock. You put in the f***ing BRUINS...the god damn mother f***ing BRUINS, and you add CAL...but no Oregon teams STILL. I take that as YOU giving ME the middle finger, so here's me giving two right back at ya. f*** YOU, Sony. f*** you right in your stinking ass.
On, and I sent an email to corporate about it, too. I worded it a bit more gently than my rant above, but we'll see what they say. They'll probably give me some lame f***ing excuse like "We can't make themes for every team" or something....but god damn it, if you can do one for WASHINGTON, who constantly suck ass every year, you can sure as hell do one for the Ducks, who are actually a nationally known entity, seeing as they're only sponsored by PHIL f***ING KNIGHT.
You might know him, Sony. He only god damn owns NIKE, for f***'s sake!
DAMN.

Wow, I've never seen someone get so irate about something as inconsequential as themes. Dude, seriously, that's a real anger issue there.
From what I can see, all the college football themes are done by a company named disruptive media publishers (which is what you see if you read the description of the themes). They do themes for gaming devices, including the PS3 and 360.
If you want to know why Oregon (or one of the teams that are, you know, bigger) isn't included, they're the ones to e-mail, as I'd wager Sony has nothing to do with it to do with it.

Note to anyone that plays the online free mode in GTA IV: If you just see my player standing around doing nothing. That probably means in reality I have put my control pad down to talk on the phone, or take a shit, or eat something. So feel free park a car on my player then shoot a rocket at it Does not matter in free mode

Heh...yeah, reading that post, I was SUPER pissed when I made that. It was a combination of not feeling very good to begin with, seeing that lame update, and then checking out the theme section and once again having my home-state pride insulted. It gets aggravating when you're constantly told via promotion of OTHER teams incessantly, how much your home state team doesn't mean anything, especially when other, far WORSE teams in the same division, get content/themes devoted to them.

Oklahoma State has a football theme, the University of Oklahoma doesn't. That makes me think licensing fees may play a role more than a snubbing of other teams.

Now that you mention it, maybe the Nike issue is the exact reason why the Ducks HAVEN'T gotten a theme yet. Maybe Disruptive has to not only pay the U of O, but Nike as well, hence the cost to make a theme with Ducks content is more than they're willing to spend just to make a theme? Still aggravated at it, just not quite as blood-spitting furious as I was last night. Another thing...when are we gonna get Gamercards/custom avatars like XBOX has? I'd like to change mine from the Duck/Shark generic thing it is right now, but the options are VERY limited.
