i been thinking that theyve moved regal to ECW, this might be best place for him too many big stars on Raw and SD. Not very popular with the fans but most realise he is a great competitor and heel character. A feud with Dreamer would work well seeing as they are both vets and have their own styles.
anyone agree?

would rather Regal work with someone young who could learn from him, but I'd also not like to see Dreamer vs. Kozlov....

William Regal could say that it's repulsive that a man as low as Tommy Dreamer is a World Champion while he, a descendant of royalty and a former King of the Ring, hasn't even been allowed to have a shot at the title.
Royal snob vs. Common Man Innovator of Violence

I talked about a feud between the two in a thread I made about a week ago. Regal is a better worker than Dreamer, but both men have a stiff, tough sort of style. It be interesting to see a kind of upper-class Regal against the blue-collar Dreamer.

I would rather see Kozlov/Regal be some kind of permanent team, but that's me. Then again, most anything ECW would probably end up being peachy with me.

Now that the tag titles are unified and one half of the champions' team is injured, I could see a storyline where there would be triple threat tag match between all brands to determine which show gets the titles and ECW having no legit tag teams left, just sends Regal and Kozlov as an odd couple and darkhorse in the race, and somehow they manage to win.

The IWC would love it but I just have a feeling with mainstream audiences matches would have a lot of being able to hear a pin drop moments. I remember when Regal and Finlay went at it on PPV a few years ago and the crowd was DEAD.

It was a little muddled why they were fighting in the first place. That is, if I remember correctly.

I would be able to be into that. Kozlov and Regal had a good thing going last ECW.

True, I mean I hope I'm wrong I would love a feud between the two, I think they'd be suited to going at it on the Submission PPV. I know Dreamer doesn't have a Submission Finisher but I see him as a Camel Clutch kind of guy. And I miss the Regal Stretch.

I don't know if he's made anyone tap to it, but he's fond of busting out the Texas Cloverleaf sometimes.

I think the fact that they are both vets would be seen as the problem. They like to play up Dreamer's age and how everybody he competes with is a relative young hotshot. Regal versus Dreamer would practically be seen as two geriatrics beating each other with their canes, I'm afraid.

This is where you'd do what they always do when they want Regal to get over, and it usually seems to work: Ramp up his violence. Dude can make it look like he's beating the ever-loving crap out of a guy. Regal can play comedy, play grizzled vet, or flat out sociopath.

Regal's never been viewed as a geriatric in any feud, has he? Dreamer has been "belittled" with that, but Regal? No.
If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if he got a push and a short reign as ECW champ.
