why was Piper half black at mania 6? Nelson Mandela had just been released, Cyndi Lauper had 'True Colours' and was linked with wrestling, and he was facing an African American. It was supposed to be a positive statement as well as a commentary on racism. It gets perceived in a number of different ways.

Well, I got numbers 1 and 2 right. Though, I had a feeling one of them would top the list:
10. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper VS Bad News Brown, WrestleMania VI (11)
9. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper VS “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, Saturday Night’s Main Event, October 5, 1985. (20)

A very big thanks to every one of you who sent in a list this week. I know some weeks these lists are a little hard to put together. They can't all be Shawn Michaels or Chris Benoit after all. I figured this one would present a challenge, so consider me pleasantly surprised by the amount of lists I actually received. I can assure you, the next two weeks will be much easier (well, relatively speaking) and should be a lot of fun to watch unfold.
Only one hint for next week, since I'm just the worst hinter of all time and give it away every time.
You could say Big Show is quite thankful for our next wrestler, for one reason or another.
That's all you get. See you tomorrow!

I mean for all extensive purposes, Piper Valentine told a better story, but Hart Piper was a better technical match so its really a toss up in my book....I still think The dog collar match should be number one, and if it were to have happen at lets say wrestlemania 4 it would be.

Then it's got to be his dad, Andre. That would be an impossible list since I never saw any matches with him where he wasn't immobile.

Haha, as explosive and hard hitting as an Andre list would be, I can tell you it is not him.

Next week's list and the one on the 18th are in no way related.
