Vince seriously needs to call Brock and thank him for all the free publicity Lesnar is getting for the WWE. In the past 2 days, I've heard the WWE's name dropped in mainstream sports outlets more than I've heard in a good while. What Brock did and said after his fight was "something we'd see in the WWE." People are bringing up the WWE & UFC names together, comparing pro wrestling & MMA. While it does less than shit for UFC, I feel it's great for the WWE. I sat and watched Lesnar own Mir and cut the most entertaining post-fight interview I've ever heard. If some MMA fans that haven't gotten into pro wrestling saw that and found it as awesome as I did, they might give pro wrestling a shot.
It's been good to hear the WWE's name mentioned in sports media and not have it be followed by negativity.

When Brock said afterward that he was drinking a cooler full of Coors light because "Bud Light ain't paying me s***", I laughed.

In a way your correct, and in others I would disagree.
I think Brock did more for the WWE and for free I might add then Donald Trump did in his last time with the WWE.
Some members of the media are using it as a further diss to the WWE though, and are using it in the it's bush league context.
When your company is as big as the WWE and UFC the bad news is better then good news is not true because both want to grow and therefore the press and UFC are blaming WWE mentality and Brock more then they are blaming UFC.
Others in the media though have talked about how entertaining he and that type of thing is which maybe some people might listen to and go you know what wrestling is fun and I've not watched it in months.
All in all I don't think Vince will call Brock, but he may send a joking thank you through a mutual friend. aka Undertaker

Only thing Brock left off in his post fight interview was insulting local sports teams.
Funny thing is UFC fans don't want to be worked or compare themselves to wrestling fans that get worked...and then they will all flock in droves to buy the next UFC ppv with lesnar to root for the other guy really hard.

WWE should be thankful for Lesnar getting big wins in MMA- they help further pro wrestlers' reputation as legit tough guys.

And then the WWE f***s it up with Chavo vs Hornswoggle and the same boring storylines on RAW for months. And this terrible forced PG-route they are going, where they even censor blood.
WWE could have taken advantage of the MMA-boom by becoming more like ROH and put more effort in the wrestling, like they finally do on Smackdown. They have some amazing talents and if they book fights like Regal vs Finlay and Tyson Kidd vs CM Punk, you're going to draw a much different crowd, that will keep on watching when they are channel surfing for some MMA.
But now, someone can be impressed by Brock and decide to give pro-wrestling a chance and they'll probably end up dissapointed by seeing some kidsshow.

Its pretty telling, though, that the E is getting mentioned more in context of Brock's UFC run than anything actually going on in WWE now. It kinda supports my hypothesis that alot of WWE fans have migrated to UFC and are watching Brock there.
It also proves JBL's "the first true heel in MMA will be a huge event" hypothesis correct.

If UFC ever does the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley fight, I wonder if the crowd would give it a Brock-Goldberg WM XX type reaction.
Ah, the two phony wrestlers are headlining our show!!! BOOOOOOO!!!
That would be a hell of an atmosphere.

I'm not that hardcore of an MMA fan but I do watch at times, and I was amazed at how excited UFC 100 got me. Kinda led me to believe that theory that Teens during the Attitude Era are now left with a Childrens-Product in the WWE and just naturally stray more to UFC. Either way, I think WWE is missing out on capitalizing on all this hooplah and this vibe that UFC is getting.

That would be a hell of an atmosphere. Good question. Who would the UFC faithful root for in that case? Either way, they'd be endorsing a former professional wrestler in their beloved sport. And also still pretending that Ken Shamrock didn't have 2 forays into professional wrestling (granted, this was after his UFC debut) and Dan Severn wasn't reigning NWA champ and UFC champ in 97, I believe.

Not to mention Brock brought pro wrestling flair and mentality into that promo after his match. He became THE heel in the UFC and now people will pay to see a) him get beat and b) who his next opponents will be. It was brilliant of him to cut that promo.

WWE would have to lose most of their PPV buys to consider taking ROH's drastic step. Although 2 PPVs a month is too much, and Cyber Sunday is still a sucky name/idea.
