The short was great too. The constant Tor jokes, Ft. Worth jokes and the cop who kept pointing the gun at everyone were classic but the whole thing was awesome.

I enjoyed the hell out of it. It was my first experience being in a room of fellow MSTies/RiffTrax fans and it was great to laugh along with everyone. There were a few spots in Plan 9 that were slow but I was laughing and smiling so hard my cheeks hurt at the end of the night. And thank god for Mike's "Time for go to bed!" joke. I would have been so disapointed if they didn't make that reference.
Oh and in my theater we laughed at the shots of the girls signing along with music guy whose name escapes me. I felt bad laughing at my fellow brethern but still.

Just got back. I've already seen the rifftrax for Plan 9 before this, but I still couldn't stop laughing. I had the greatest time ever! We laughed at pretty much everything, even at the girls singing along to those songs. They better do this again soon. It was just way too awesome.
Also, sorry Fort Worth...

Yeah, I already knew the riffs from this one, but it was still fantastic seeing it in a group, made it feel new.
Also, OH MY GOD, FLOUR!

Had an awesome experience myself; I too enjoyed being among fellow MST3K fans.
The audience participation was the best part, IMO.
But ya know what my favorite part might be, strangely enough?
When the satellite feed went out for a bout 15 minutes due to stormy weather, and we were just sitting there when 3 things happened:
1) Someone heading for the bathroom shouted "Probably the best Special Effect this entire movie," and the audience laughed;
2) A few minutes later I shouted, "Clap your hands if you believe," and the audience actually did it;
3) A few minutes later someone else shouted, "Hey, could someone in the front row press the help button?" and someone from the front row did, eliciting laughter and applause.
I haven't had such a great time in a long time, and I hope that there is another one soon enough, though I would rather go without the satellite feed loss, regardless of audience camaraderie.
We got readmission tickets for our trouble though, so the three friends that went with me and I are thinking of seeing Inglorious Basterds tonight or tomorrow (we could have seen it that night, but... we wanted to leave with Rifftrax Live being the high note).
Right now though I'm looking into buying a Berry watcher and I'm thinking of attending the Flour and Grain Expo!

I went to my local theater and caught it. Awesome. The somethingawful commercials were hilarious but I wasn't really feeling the music guy. I have now been exposed to the greatness of Tor Johnson.
"STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! /bitch slap" and Tor's operatic singing just about killed me.

I saw "District 9" yesterday and saw the preview for Rifftrax, a ONE TIME SHOWING in the very theater I was in at 8:00 PM but having a previous engagement, I let out a hearty "SON OF A BITCH!" and went to see my movie.
Probably friggin' hilarious.
