The Chuck E. Cheese thread filled me with memories of pizza and tokens. Obviously everyone wants to rush to the arcade cabinets when they throw back all of their pizza, myself included, but what to play?
Unless you were a big fighting game guy, you were playing for tickets, or they had some gun game, most people I knew wanted to grab a stick, and be the first to get the character they want.
Simpsons, X-Men, Ninja Turtles, there were a lot of classics. I remember I always would get Bart, Raphael or Donatello, or Nightcrawler in their respective games. I am pretty sure Final Fight was in arcades, but I never seemed to see it.
If I forgot good ones, by all means bring them up, I'd love to know. They were a big part of my childhood.

X-Men followed closely by simpsons. Beat them both I think.

Ninja Turtles
I remember when I was 10 my friend said he had the 'Ninja Turtles' game on his Dad's primitive PC (it was 1990).
I got excited because I thought it was the Arcade Game what I always pestered by Dad to play whenever we went to Blockbuster Video.
So I got to my friends house and he loads it up.... And it was just a crappy port of the Nintendo game.

What is this, no Streets of Rage? This poll sucks. Out of the options I played TMNT the most. Leonardo and what-not. ;D

Simpsons was my most played, though I also loved Rampage and Captain Commando. On the latter you can play as a robot-controlling baby. Come on, that's just awesome.

Oh man I loved all these, and the Pizza Inn near my home kept Final Fight longer than anyone did. Like years and years after that game was done with I'd go there just to play it. lol

X-Men is by far my favorite, particularly the double-wide version with all the characters.
Also, the FULL Emma Frost quote is "You are welcome to DIE!" Nobody seems to realise she's using an actual sentence, i.e. You are welcome to sit down and drink some tea.
Ninja Turtles and Simpsons are also fun. Streets of Rage is one of my all-time favorite game franchises, but I understand you're going with arcade games rather than console games.

I didn't remember that part, all I remember is the line Emma Frost used in the "Pryde of the X-Men" cartoon pilot (which this game is based on), and I coulda swore they used Frost's line in the game as well. *shrug*

I might just not remember.

I'm a huge Final Fight mark. There's very few cooler than Haggar in my book.

There were never many arcades around here, so I never got many experiences in them. Every once in awhile I'd go to one, but I'd have to travel for it.
The beat 'em ups I played most are the Final Fight series, Turtles in Time, and River City Ransom. Good times.

X-Men. I spent many a weekend tearing Sentinels up with Wolverine. If somebody came by my machine and picked up Colossus, look out.

(Insert Ninja Turtles beat 'em up here, 'cuz I've played all of them.)
Played the Simpsons game a lot, too, though. Always showed up to the movies early just to play the crap out of that game.
Honestly, I didn't even know there was an X-Men game until a few years ago. Still haven't actually seen one.
