The Undertaker has kept the name, but just changed the gimmick over the years. But he was always considered the same person. Which was your favorite version?

Humanized, but still mysterious (1998).
Perhaps his best verison.

My fav was when he had The Ministry and all that, so I voted "the satanic demonic one"

Humanized, but still mysterious (1998). Perhaps his best verison. Agreed. Seconded by the Satanic version. P.S. Why the hell did people vote for biker taker?

I did like face bikertaker, he had a few good matches and angles and I was a limp dick fan at the time so I popped whenever I heard Rollin'. But I voted for the 1998 Taker because I love the concept, it appeals to my somewhat gothy nature.

the original, i was 11 at the time and i'll never forget yelling at my mom to come into the room b/c Superstars was on and the UT was putting warrior in a casket. i've been hooked ever since.

Ghetto Taker ruined him for me. I still haven't been able to push that period of time out of my mind.

Humanized but still mysterious (98)
Actually didn't this version show up before 98? Anyayz, i loved this version. This Undertaker still had the supernatural powers, but could be beaten. This Taker, was great. I wish he would go back to that version.
Also I'd say the original is a close second. Mainly because of the Hogan and Jake fueds.

Ministry-the perfect balance between the "Deadman" and the more human Taker'- a great mix of kayfabe and reality, biker taker was too much of the real Mark Calloway, not tht that's bad, just the mix was more entertaining

Ministry Taker with the Burning T's and all those followers, he needs to die and come back like that, preferebly with a New Ministry.

i'll always love (and fear!) the original because he killed hulkamanina, which was no mean feat when i was a youngster! but i prefer heel badass. i liked tazz's commentary that 'taker was using mixed martial arts movres in order to be more vicous against younger oponents. and i loved him using the dragon sleeper. but you know, anything not involving magical urns and lightning bolts works for me.

The biker Taker sucked until the 'respect him' era got underway, then he became cool. The best version was when he was a face fueding with Lesnar in August-October 2002. Simply the best.
His more humanised but still mysterious persona from 1998 comes close second.
I hate the whole lighting/rising from the dead/eerie powers bit. Having druids and smoke in your entrance is cool, but supernatural powers requires too much suspension of disbelief for me.

Match wise he was best as the biker cause it wasn't silly no selling and MMA moves put on thge best matches but the ministry version was the best personality
