Part 118: Silent Heaven (also, this is where I desperately to make the relationship mechanics in this game - namely, having two girlfriends who don't mind each other - make some sense using my questionable skills in fan fiction writing for a couple of paragraphs)--- Friday, November 18Nope, still not able to focus. I didn't see Naoto today, and I still can't find the time to talk to Yukiko either. Then again, even if I were able to reach her for long enough to have a conversation with her, what would I say? "Uh, yeah, I thought you should know I've totally fallen in love with Naoto over the last couple of weeks. So, um, we're done now, right?" Yeah, sounds great! I am such a goddamn moron. --- Saturday, November 19I teach Shu something about the realities of school life. Then he starts bitching about the transfer student again and telling me how much better he is. Brilliant. At least the Tower Social Link advances and I get 10,000 yen again. --- Sunday, November 20I spent most of the day at the shrine, praying that my life become slightly less of a complete trainwreck. The only thing that happened was that I felt I somehow got even closer to Naoto than before, but at least I tried. After I left the shrine I finally managed to get hold of Yukiko and explained my situation as well as I could, and finally told her that she deserves a better man and we should go our separate ways. I must say I didn't expect her reaction - she told me she understood and that it'd probably be best for both of us if we stopped dating for a while anyway, since she's been really busy at the inn and hasn't been able to spend any time with me recently... and, most surprisingly, Yukiko said that if I ever change my mind for some reason, she will be right there for me and there are no hard feelings, and at the very least we will always stay friends. I don't know how much of that was true and I still feel extremely guilty for being such an idiot, but at least I was able to talk things through with her... I guess I can try to stop moping for now. With that said, Naoto didn't actually respond to what I told her the other day, so it could be that I jumped the gun a bit here. Oh well. It's been raining for several days now, and the fog is apparently coming tonight. Time to watch the Midnight Channel, I suppose. I'm pretty sure this is the last time we need to watch the Midnight Channel. We caught the culprit, so this is probably it. --- Monday, November 21This is very strange. What's with the fog? Looks like Namatame has regained consciousness. Yep, it certainly looks like this is over. Finally. Now, we'll just wait until Nanako gets better and we can have a proper celebration. The weather is crazy, though. Why is the fog still here, anyway? Shouldn't it have lifted by now? Hey, it's Adachi. He tells us that they're trying to interrogate Namatame and put together his story, but more importantly he informs us that we can visit Nanako in the hospital as of now. So... uh, did Namatame kill Saki Konishi when she rejected him, or what? What a piece of crap. Yosuke gets even more angry, but eventually calms down because Namatame has been brought to justice and can't hurt anyone any more. Once school ends, we go see Nanako in the hospital. The doctor says her condition is stable, but they can't seem to figure what causes her symptoms. I can. It's got to be the atmosphere in the other world, but it would be useless to tell the doctors about it because they wouldn't believe a word. Namatame, on the other hand, is also awake but "in no condition to tell us anything useful", as Adachi puts it. In addition, some people have been complaining about this fog possibly causing health problems... Dojima doesn't seem to believe that. --- Meanwhile, at the shopping district...The rumor mill is in full force around town, it seems the people of Inaba are getting rather worried about the fog.
"IT'S THE GLOBAL WARMING! RUN!" D'oh!
Naturally, the fog has also brought out all the crazies from the woodwork. This town is going straight to hell.Straight to hell, I tell you.--- Tuesday, November 22The fog still isn't going anywhere, and now I'm getting kinda worried. At least I get to hang out with Naoto again, I wonder if she's going to respond to... well, yeah. Apparently, she wants me to meet someone. I'm just counting the days until Mr. Yamada gets fired. Naoto and I go to Samegawa Flood Plain. The guy who gave me the card and who we saw at the shrine the other day is there and introduces himself as Yakushiji, the secretary/butler of the Shirogane estate. I kind of figured he'd be something like that when he kept calling Naoto "Naoto-sama"... but, uh, what is this stuff all about? Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense. Well played by them. Uh... sure, no problem, I guess. I was happy to help... Yakushiji gave Naoto another letter, this one is apparently the final challenge. At a place she'd be fond of... Of course I remembered, why wouldn't I? The highest place around here would be... the hill? I thought as much. How about the other clue? There we go. So, our next stop shall be the hill overlooking town, and we'll look for something... underneath a trash can, perhaps? It was taped to the bottom of the trash can, as we expected. As I said before, well played by her grandfather. Naoto tells me how she really desperately wanted to be accepted and needed, and in the process she forgot why she wanted to be a detective in the first place. That was because she was always intrigued by mysteries and wanted to help people by solving them... Is she crying? Certainly seems that way, although she's trying her best to smile. In the end, Naoto finally accepts who she is. I can feel her determination, which also makes the Social Link a bit stronger. Whenever I'm alone with you... you make me feel like I am whole again. This isn't just a lame excuse for me to recite The Cure's song lyrics, she actually does make me feel like that when I'm with her... She... oh my god. Once more, I'm rendered speechless, even more so than usual. Naoto is so cute when she's embarrassed. I still kind of feel like I am doing something I shouldn't be doing, but it's too late to turn back now... --- Wednesday, November 23Today is Labor Appreciation Day, so we have a day off from school and I decide to hit the town... Dear GOD! Is it just me or has this fog gotten even thicker over the last couple of days? Hardly anyone (besides some weirdos with gas masks screaming that the end is coming) is around, probably due to the fog and the cold. This is kind of freaking me out, it's a very eerie feeling to walk alone through the foggy streets. With that said, I don't even remember what I was going to do, so I'll just go to the shrine and then return back home. I don't want to be out here for too long. I think I officially suck at building models. --- Thursday, November 24Yes. Natural. This certainly seems completely natural. Well... if there's anything that can get my mind off this town apparently going to hell, then I guess this would be it! Whatever. So I'm a little preoccupied, sue me. I'll get that one right in the exam, anyways. Later on, in Seta's room...
She is a detective all the way to the bitter end, isn't she? ;D Hey, it's a bit like the one she made for herself back in the day. Dear god, Naoto is awesome. Of course I won't... I mean, how could I? Does this mean we're detective partners now? Aww... I'm not sure I really did all that much, but I'm glad she's happy and that she is here with me now. I don't know about the pitch of her voice, really, but it IS a bit disorienting when she still keeps referring to herself using "boku" which is the male pronoun. But I guess I would like it if her voice was a bit higher... and if she'd use the female pronoun "watashi" every now and then. So, she says "watashi" a few times using a higher pitch of voice, and it's just about the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. No, no, it was great! I swear, that smile can hypnotize any man. I'm about to tell her that there is certainly someone in this room who already likes her a whole lot, when... ...this happens. Okay, now she's sounding quite a bit like Rise there. I don't mind, though. Yet another unbreakable bond. I am? Sorry, can't help it. For a glorious little while, I am able to forget all the troubles in the world. I don't care what happens to Namatame. I... well, I'm not concerned about Nanako or Dojima. I don't care about the fact that I could have made different choices when it came to relationships, or the goddamn mess that my love life briefly became as a result. And I don't even care about the mysterious and possibly dangerous fog that has covered the town and has the public convinced that the end of everything is upon us. The world could end right now, at this very moment, but we will never break our embrace.

I like this ending. Hell, I'm glad you finished the Naoto SL. It's almost impossible first time around.

:3 I like this ending. Hell, I'm glad you finished the Naoto SL. It's almost impossible first time around. I have never actually seen this ending to her social link before, I chose the friends path on my previous playthrough. I really wanted to see it this time around, so I tried my best to finish the link and choose the correct dialog options. I probably couldn't have done it if I hadn't finished the Hermit (Fox) social link beforehand, as praying at the shrine is almost mandatory if you want to finish Naoto's link... especially if you still have some other social links to complete in addition to hers. It's still easier than completing the Aeon social link in Persona 3 FES, though. I only barely managed to complete that one on the last day of the game, and even had to reload a backup save at one point because I didn't think that the girl I was going out with at that point could get jealous if the other girl I was spending time with was an android... especially since she knew about her android status perfectly well. She got jealous anyway, and *snip* went the Empress social link... That was actually pretty good. I approve entirely. Thanks. I actually spent quite a bit of time thinking about how I should attempt to explain Seta's relationship drama in a somewhat plausible manner while still keeping it consistent with what's going on in the game. Obviously, I couldn't show Yukiko getting angry with him or anything like that because it wouldn't make sense (Yukiko is still as friendly as ever when you interact with her, and you still have that "unbreakable" bond), so this was the most plausible scenario I could come up with. For a brief moment I even thought about loading one of my many backup saves and replaying Naoto's social link, going the friends path this time (this was after I had finished the link but obviously before I showed any of it in this thread), but then decided that it would be more interesting if I just rolled with it. I'll try to get the next update posted in a bit.

Part 119: The Mist--- Naoto could probably have spent the night here, what with the house being empty and all, but I decide to walk her home anyway. Holy hell, it's really freaking dark... you can't see a damn thing with this fog. I should probably walk around with a flashlight from now on if I ever need to go out after dark. Naoto gets home safely, and I realize that it actually isn't even all that late yet even though it's so dark you can't see shit out there. Thus, I decide to grab my things from home (wasn't able to find the flashlight, though... I guess I'll just go to Junes when I have the time and get a cheap one) and walk to the Nakajima residence to tutor Shu again. Hey, he's really learning the important stuff I'm teaching him. Looks like everybody hates the transfer student, they're all ignoring him. For a moment I actually think Shu is talking about himself, but he denies that. Hey, it's okay. Because Shu's horrible mother probably never talks about anything other than his studies and how perfect he is, the least I can do is to talk about different things with the guy. Looks like Shu is actually beginning to enjoy my company, and he also seems like much less of a prick than he did when I first met him. That is good. --- Friday, November 25
Honestly? She probably doesn't care about this guy at all. He asks me to bring him an "Animal Guide" that you can find from some... something on a cloud or whatever. Go to the bookstore and buy the goddamn animal guidebook for her yourself, it shouldn't be that hard. Or you could just go and talk to her. I haven't worked at the daycare for a while, so I thought I'd head there after school. It seems that the kids aren't bothered by the fog at all, the adults are a different story though. If I hear even one more ridiculous theory about global warming, the reptilians and Illuminati, I will go berserk. Yuuta is a true ninja. His stepmother comes to pick him up, but as usual he won't listen to her... but never mind that, just what in the hell is this woman talking about?! Mrs. Minami wasn't like this when I last saw her. What's happened to her? We're charging our battery And now we're full of energy We are the robots
We're functioning automatik And we are dancing mechanik We are the robots
Ja tvoi sluga Ja tvoi rabotnik?!!? Yeah, the best f***ing idea I have ever heard, I suddenly feel a whole lot better. Seriously, WHAT. Did the fog drive her insane all of a sudden? Or was she this crazy all along? No wonder the kid can't stand her. Ah. So that gives you an excuse not to even try to get along with Yuuta. "HURR DURR I CANT DO ANYTHING IT WAS PROGRAMMED LIKE THAT AND DESTINY HURR!!" How very convenient. This is absolutely ridiculous. This woman makes me sick. I tell her going back to the city might be a good idea, but she doesn't think she can do it. Yeah, as does everybody else in this town. Business as usual. Now why in the bluest of blue hells would I say anything to any of them? I don't think Yuuta would understand anyway, and the other mothers are too busy gossiping about all the ridiculous stories making the rounds and bitching about the government not making the weather improve, so I have nothing to say to them. I really hate this town sometimes. Yeah... I should probably stop for now, I'm feeling a bit woozy here. --- Saturday, November 26This town is seriously going to hell. Everyone has gone out of their feeble minds, it seems. That is more likely than Mr. Kondo might think. I only now realized that the finals start next week, but I'm also pretty sure that I'll do well in those without needing to study too much. Kanji comes to visit after school and tells me how Rise came to the store and thought the dolls Kanji made were cute but him making those in the first place was kinda creepy. Apparently, Kanji then showed her some more stuff he made, and then Rise told him he was kinda cool after all. It seems Kanji has finally accepted himself as well. Uh... thanks. As Kanji accepts himself for who he is, his Persona also goes through a transformation. I'm kind of disappointed that this means no more giant robot La Parka... uh, Take-Mikazuchi, but at least Rokuten Maoh has a mustache. That is always cool. ;D I'm no hero... but thank you, man. There we go, another genuine bond... and I'll be able to create Odin? That is badass. Kanji starts talking in this really weird, kinda flamboyant voice that sounds nothing like his usual way of speaking. I'm not sure if he's just hamming it up or if this is how he actually is, but one thing that's for sure is that I really wish Nanako were here to attend the Oven Mitt Puppets 101 class. She would love this stuff. --- Sunday, November 27Well. Now that the town really seems to be in somewhat of a panic due to the persistent fog, our friend Tanaka here has managed to find a way to make a profit out of the whole thing. The gas masks sell out in approximately 10 seconds, so it seems the general public is actually believing this stuff about the fog being poisonous. I don't know if it is poisonous, but it definitely feels strange. Man. It almost feels as if the fog is now inside the house. I really, really don't like what is happening to Inaba as of late. I happen to meet Hisano Kuroda at the riverbank and end up talking with her for a while... but... ...she tells me I remind her too much of her late husband, and so she doesn't want to see me again. Mrs. Kuroda thanks me for everything... ...and finally walks off without looking back. I head home, looking at all the surroundings... well, what I can see of them in this fog, anyway... there are a few people talking about the fog and related stuff, and even more weirdos in gas masks... and right now I am convinced that something is very wrong with this town. Something is horribly, horribly wrong with Inaba, but I can't tell what it is. No one can, it seems. Maybe things will get better over time. ---

Part 120--- Monday, November 28Yosuke has also noticed that something's not right with the weather or anything else for that matter. At least the exam questions are easy, and I can get through them with no problem whatsoever. --- Tuesday, November 29 - Thursday, December 1Still no trouble with the exams. --- Friday, December 2I hear some girls talking about the Midnight Channel and how it apparently showed a picture of Inaba... in ruins? That sounds REALLY worrying. I thought we wouldn't have to watch it any more and it hasn't even been raining lately, so how can it even be on at this time? I've really done my best not to think about Silent Hill when going around town (that is harder than you'd expect), but now I'm really starting to get worried. The Midnight Channel showing Inaba covered in fog, in another dimension, with monsters lurking in the fog? I truly hope these are just silly rumors, otherwise this town might literally be going to hell... Well, the answer to that question would definitely be a "yes". I remember facepalming quite hard when Ms. Kashiwagi made that comment about Koch sounding like "cough", but that actually helped me remember the answer to this question. I feel ashamed. --- Saturday, December 3Great. That's just what we need. At least Rise isn't letting herself be bothered by the possibility of this town being swallowed by the fog. That's nice, I guess. Other side, huh? What in th- oh, god damn it. Is this... is this the fog from the TV world? I guess it is since the glasses help us see better, but what in the crap is it doing in OUR world? I think it's safe to say that this does not bode well... I'm very afraid Chie might be exactly right this time. Hm. Sounds like a plan. I'm pretty sure I aced the exams this time, but I have this sinking feeling that we are headed for disaster in one way or another. Seriously, how and why did the fog from the TV world end up on our side? There is literally no one else at the Junes food court as a result of the fog. Teddie notes that it does feel like the fog in the TV world, which probably means that it IS the same fog. I've been wondering, even if Namatame recovers enough for the police to interrogate him, will they be able to convict him? Can they prove anything? Exactly. I'm not at all sure if they'll be able to bring the guy to justice. That worries me. You can say that again... Oh yeah, that reminds me. I promised Nanako we would buy that new kotatsu, but then all this crap happened and I forgot about the whole thing. We decide to go buy one together. Oh no, you're not going anywhere. Even though Teddie is sometimes a bit irritating, we still like having him around and certainly don't want him to leave. Besides, he promised Nanako that he'd play with her, so he can't leave now! So apparently he'll be living with me at the Dojima residence for the time being. That works, I guess. At least the house won't feel as empty if Teddie is around. Sure, why not? What should we get? Well, if I remember right Yosuke has had that same problem before, such as that time we went into the TV world for the first time... then again, I don't want to remember that. Never mind, carry on. Ah, the good old days are here all over again! I suddenly feel like the only sane man in this building. Fortunately, Rise, Kanji and Naoto are still with me, and so we start thinking about Nanako's present. Can't go wrong with a Jack Frost doll. Kanji knows what he is talking about. The party sounds good, but the cake? Uhhh... I'm not so sure about that. That's right... hm? My phone is ringing. It's Adachi, and he sounds like something has happened. What? Oh crap! We're going there right now! We get to the hospital, worried sick about Nanako. It appears she is still relatively okay... but what on earth are those voices? Sounds like all of Inaba's morons have shown up in full force. Dojima is obviously even more worried than we are, and he gets quite angry when the doctor tells him they can't really do anything to improve her condition at this point. Dojima's injuries haven't healed properly yet, and so he nearly collapses. The doctor asks us all to leave the room for now, and one of the nurses takes Dojima back to his room. It's a shame Teddie doesn't know more about his world, as he could possibly help Nanako get better if he did. I'm certain he's trying his best to help, though, so I wish Yosuke would cut him some slack. Damn you, Namatame. This is his fault. And yes, Nanako will be okay. We need to believe in her. Adachi shows up, and we ask him about Namatame. It looks like they might not be able to convict him for his crimes... no, that can't happen, right? Kanji gets really angry. I can tell you, this is a guy you don't want to get angry at you. Adachi soon sees why it's a bad idea to piss Kanji off when... huh? Why did that nurse suddenly run out of Nanako's hospital room? Oh SHIT. OH S***! Hang in there, Little Sis. Your dad is coming. The heartbeat monitor starts beeping at an alarmingly rapid pace. Come on, Little Sis! Hang in there, you're gonna be fine! Nanako! Your daddy is almost here! ...I'm here. I will be here. It's all right. It's going to be all right. It's gonna be okay. You're gonna be... ...just fine... ...No. No, this can't be. This can't be happening! NO.......

Part 121--- I hear Dojima enter the room. He is too late. She is gone. Chie, Yosuke and others arrive as well... ...We couldn't save her. We did what we could, and it wasn't enough. Now, she is gone. Nanako is dead. Little Sis is dead. Namatame will pay for this. We're not going to rest until he pays for what he has done. Dojima leaves the room. I don't know where he is going, and to be honest I don't give a shit right now. I feel like want to throw up, but I'm too numb to do anything - it feels as if I'm dead myself but still somehow seeing what's going on. Then again, who gives a f*** about how I'm feeling? How about what Dojima must feel like? I can't even begin to imagine what is going through the poor man's mind right now, his only daughter has been taken from him and I wouldn't be surprised if he... ...if he wanted to kill Namatame with his bare hands. Huh? I think I hear Rise calling me from the hallway. What does she want now? WHAT? They brought Namatame to THIS hospital? Are they out of their f***ing minds? Whatever! Just tell us where his room is before Dojima does something to Namatame, or worse yet, gets himself hurt! He's in no condition to do anything right now! He's gonna kill Namatame or get himself killed, you useless f***ing putz! Now tell us already where Namatame is! FINALLY. Adachi says there's a police guard, but we can probably take care of them... if Dojima doesn't get there first, that is. --- Meanwhile, in Nanako's hospital room...Poor Nana-chan. I made that promise with you, but now... now what will I do? Teddie couldn't save Nana-chan... and now Teddie is so lonely. There must have been something I could have done to save Nana-chan. Yosuke was right, it happened in my world and I should've known some way... some way to prevent this. But I didn't know anything. I still don't know anything. I'm such a useless bear...--- Outside Namatame's room...Can't these idiots just let me in already? I'm their superior officer anyway, so what the hell is with them? I HAVE TO GET IN THERE. I must... I will get Namatame, and I will kill him with my own bare hands if I have to! That man doesn't deserve to live after what he did to Nanako, I don't care what happens to me any more... just as long as......Argh! S***! It hurts like hell... but I don't care. Nothing matters now. Namatame must pay. Nanako... I'm gonna...Adachi? Why is he here? Back to the... No! I don't want to go back there ever again, I need to do this now! I need to... finish this... uhh...--- We arrive to see Dojima being escorted back to his room by Adachi and a couple of policemen, and he is obviously in great pain. I wonder if he seriously would have killed Namatame if he had gotten in there. Yeah... I'm pretty sure he would have done something like that. Dojima is not someone who'd let the man - no - the monster who killed his only daughter run free, and he surely would take matters in his own hands if he got the opportunity. Oh, he will pay. In one way or another, the bastard will have to pay for what he did. The hell was that noise? It came from Namatame's room! We run inside and see Namatame on the floor, with the window wide open. I can tell you, this guy isn't going anywhere. We're about to start asking Namatame about various things, when the Midnight Channel suddenly comes on and Namatame's Shadow shows up. Come to think of it, he never faced his Shadow and it didn't turn into a Persona, so I guess that is why it's still there. Wait, what? He KNEW what he was doing? He wasn't crazy or anything?! Jesus f***ing Christ! This piece of shit is going down! Did you stop when Nanako wanted you to stop hurting her? No, you didn't, you sick f***! And now she is dead, all because of you! Isn't that obvious? The guy sounds like he's almost proud of what he did! This is nauseating. ..."Mission"? MISSION? For the love of GOD, tell me this isn't happening! I'm thinking "kick his f***ing head in", but I'm not sure if this piece of crap deserves even that. Err... Naoto? Are you trying to say what I think you are? Well, you could say that Namatame would get what was coming to him... I guess. Chie doesn't seem to agree with the plan. Yosuke, on the other hand, is all for shoving Namatame inside the TV and letting him get ripped apart by the Shadows with no way to get out. I think he probably deserves that... But if we kill him, does that make us feel any better? We would get our revenge, but at what cost? But if he goes free he might... ARGH, I am so lost right now! Yosuke: "So what's it gonna be... Leader?"--- TO BE CONTINUED

Part 122--- For a moment, I consider simply throwing Namatame in the TV and letting the other world take care of him. However, I think we should stop and think for a second here before we do anything drastic. Now that I think of it, we're really missing some pieces here. At least it seems that way. First of all, we haven't really heard Namatame's side of the story. Yes, but... I just have this feeling. Call it detective's intuition if you want, something's definitely bothering me. There is something we don't know. Yeah... I know this sounds really weak, and Yosuke probably had a point when he thought I was just stalling. Maybe I am... or... ...NO. We are NOT doing this. Not like this. Thank you so much, Yukiko. No. You are not. Shut up. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like we might find out something if we talked to Namatame himself instead of just going by what his Shadow was saying back there. Now listen up for a second here, Yosuke -- I will NOT become a killer, and I won't let you become one either. Yes, this man is the reason Nanako and the other victims are dead and I will never forgive him for what he has done, but if we throw him in there we will be no better than he is! If we throw him in, we become murderers ourselves! Is that what you guys want after everything we've gone through? Is that what Saki-senpai or Nanako would want? If Namatame decides to escape through the TV himself and ends up getting killed in the other world, then so be it, that's his choice, but I will NOT have a man's death on my conscience and I refuse to let any of you guys shove him in the TV either! What were you THINKING? That's right. Listen to Rise. Please? Finally, everyone calms down somewhat. Exactly. We should at least hear him out before we do anything. Yeah... seriously, let's listen to his side of the story first, at least. If nothing else, that might help us find out the real reason why he's been doing all this. Looks like we're going to have to wait before we interrogate him, then. We should probably ask someone to remove the TV from this room so Namatame won't get himself killed before we can talk to him properly. Of course, of course. Unless you mean to kill him, because I will stop you from doing that if I must. Namatame might be criminal scum, but I'm not going to let my best friend become a killer because of him. Understood? You know, I'm sort of wondering about it myself. Naturally, I'm pretty much screaming inside because of what happened to Dojima and especially Nanako, but I'm doing my best trying to remain brave and as calm as I can here even though I'm technically still in shock over everything that's gone down. Yosuke is finally convinced. Thank God. Kanji too. Phew. I can't help but think we dodged a major bullet there. Seriously... what would have become of us if we had decided to simply push Namatame into the TV? I know I couldn't look at myself in the mirror any more if I did that, but what about the others? How would they have reacted once they realized what they had done? Fortunately, we don't have to wonder about such things because we are a team, we're in this together, and even if someone happens to forget that for some reason we will make sure to remind them. Anytime, my man. Anytime. The Social Link voices in my head start again, but this time they seem a bit different than before. It's like they sound... relieved? Yeah, that's how it seems. Or maybe I'm imagining things. Maybe I'm just insane altogether. Wouldn't surprise me at this point, especially after what I've seen tonight. What the...? Another Social Link? That's interesting... Crap, it's Adachi. How will we explain our presence here? Oh. Thank you, dear. ...Right. Sure. Will do. Namatame seems to be fine but needs his rest right now, so the doctor orders all of us out of the room. Do we have to? I mean... oh God. It's really dawning on me that Nanako is gone and won't be coming back. I wonder how Dojima is doing... but yeah, let's get out of this room for now. That is a very good question. Namatame never really explained it, did he? I gathered that much, but why? What was the point? Save her... that doesn't make any sense, really. Save her from what? We seriously wouldn't have gotten anywhere if it wasn't for Naoto, that has to be said. Yeah... I don't think Namatame is that twisted and I don't believe he is that good of an actor either. Namatame did seem genuinely shocked about Yamano's death. I talked to him in the shopping district and the Samegawa flood plain a couple of times, and at no point did it seem like he was acting or anything like that. Maybe he killed Yamano by accident and then went insane somehow... I don't know. Yeah, about that... we should take another look at the diary, if possible. Maybe it's got some more information that we missed the first time around... of course, it's probably locked up in the evidence room at the police station, and I don't think we'll be able to read it in that case. Maybe so... it's hard to say right now. Undoubtedly, things will become more clear once we're actually able to talk to Namatame. Maybe he will tell us why he felt he had to "save" Mayumi Yamano in the first place. Ah! Sorry about that, we got a bit carried away. Never mind, we're going... Huh? What now? What's going on? Did something happen to Dojima? We're going! Damn, what is this all about? Can't this night just end already, it's been horrible enough as is? ---

If something happened to Dojima.... I don't know man.
But backing up a while back, an ANDROID? Thankfully I've read Persona 3 FTW, but nonetheless that's still weird. (THough a P3 LP would be interesting...)

But backing up a while back, an ANDROID? Thankfully I've read Persona 3 FTW, but nonetheless that's still weird. It makes sense in context. Kind of. lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Persona3/ (warning for obvious spoilers and some language) That, my friends, is how you do a Persona 3 LP. As much as I would like to do one myself, Schildkrote here nailed it and nothing I did would be anywhere near as good. (Also, I've totally ripped off his "My life is a goddamn mess" catchphrase in this thread a few times when the situation called for it, as a shout out of sorts) It's an LP of the original version of the game, though, so no Aeon arcana social link or stuff like that, but still.

NOTE: If you choose the wrong options (anything other than the ones I chose) in the conversation with Yosuke in Namatame's room, Namatame is killed, the game will skip to the last day and you will get the bad ending. I didn't go that path even though I originally planned to do so in order to show off the bad ending, but if you want to see it here's a pair of videos from Youtube user omegaevolution. Oh yeah, I suggest you watch the videos from this page only, because their actual Youtube pages are littered with spoilers in the comments and related videos. That ending is REALLY bad, about as depressing as the worst possible ending in Mass Effect 2. Even the credits are like "Look what you did, you moron!"--- Part 123--- ...Kuma? Where is this? How did I get here? I remember... I was at the hospital with Nana-chan and then...
I couldn't keep my promise... I lost my reason to be there...
Now I understand... I have to talk to Sensei and the others. But how do I get back? Where am I, anyway? Looks like a road of some kind, but I can't see a thing in this fog. Where am I going? Kumaaa...--- Meanwhile, back at the Inaba Municipal Hospital...We're brought back to... Nanako's room? I thought we were going to see Doj-- Wait, what? Is the... heart monitor back on?! I... I... just... uh... What? HOW?! They're not lying. Nanako is alive. There's some fancy medical term for this, but I can't remember it right now and I honestly don't care, because LITTLE SIS IS ALIVE. Oh god... Oh my god. I can't believe this. I wouldn't believe this if I didn't see it with my own eyes. This is crazy. Maybe I have actually lost my mind and am just imagining this... no. It's real. I know it is. I don't know what to say any more. Oh hell, I'm about to cry here myself. Nanako... Do we have to? We'd all like to stay here by Nanako's side, I'm sure. All right... Fair enough. Oh yeah! Where did that guy go? Yosuke decides to call Teddie's cell phone once we're out of the hospital. All right, then... let's go, I guess. Man, what a night this has been. I'm still kinda shaking from all that has happened... but at least Nanako is all right, that's the most important thing. Maybe she'll recover fully sooner or later, at least that's what we all hope. --- Namatame's room...Namatame: "Why?"
--- Shopping District North...Still no sign of Teddie. It's not like him to disappear like this all of a sudden, especially since he made that promise with Nanako and all. This is weird. Hmm... looks like it's starting to snow. At least it is real snow and not like, ash coming out of the sky. With the way this town has been as of late, I wouldn't be surprised by that at all. With that said, it's getting freezing out here, so we decide to call it a night and head home. We're going to meet at our special headquarters tomorrow to discuss all that's happened. All right, man. Take care. Yeah. I'd say it was. We almost killed a man back there, and I'm not going to let us do something like that. Ever. Oh yeah, maybe I should turn this thing on... huh? New messages? Is it from Teddie? No, not Teddie. This is from Kou, who seems to be trying to cheer me up. Daisuke has also sent a message. I gotta say this guy always manages to find a way to make you laugh, whether or not he intends to do that. Hell yeah. There's another message? Yumi as well? I haven't heard of her since... man. I need to call her back and ask how she is doing, and of course tell her that Nanako is doing fine for now. ---

I actually found a way to incorporate horrible Batista photoshops into one of the future updates. You'll see... ah, f*** it, here we go, I'll just post them here while I'm preparing the next update, these pics don't spoil anything anyway and would just take up space from the actual update. See, I ended up fusing a demon known as Mara and realized that his appearance is NOT PG13 material unless I do something to him (basically, Mara's body is a giant green dong - with a matching head, if you know what I mean. Yes, they did it on purpose, it's supposed to be a visual pun and is probably the main reason why this game is rated M in the US). So, I brought in good old "Big" Dave to save the day! (and yes, those 'shops are intentionally crappy, I could have made them look a lot better if I wanted to but I thought it'd be funnier if they looked like they were put together in ten seconds... which they were, to be honest) Unfortunately, what I didn't take into account was that adding Batista heads on Mara made him look even more disturbing. At least it's all PG13 now... MY GOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE?! It's a horrible abomination! I am so very sorry for the nightmare fuel I have inadvertently produced.

Part 124: The Seekers of Truth--- Holy f***ing hell, what a day that was. I have no idea what time it is and I don't care, right now I'm just gonna go to sleep. Tomorrow we'll talk about the case some more and I'll contact all the people who sent me messages while I was at the hospital... but now I gotta sleep or I'll fall unconscious right here. This... Igor: "Welcome. It's been quite some time. Do not be alarmed. You are fast asleep in the real world... I have summoned you within your dreams."No offense, Igor, but can this wait? I've had a rough day, how about I come visit you guys tomorrow? No? I thought as much. So, what's this all about? I guess this is urgent because they had to summon me while I was sleeping... To be honest, at this very moment I can say I honestly have no clue if we're going to be able to solve the case. I thought we had it cracked, but then all this business with Namatame happened and now I'm not so sure any more. Igor: "The precise destination of this vehicle... That, too, is getting rather hard to judge. If we continue driving blindly, we may end up leading you further away from the mystery that you must reach."Igor asks Margaret to do... something. I don't know what it is she exactly does, but I see a flash of light and voices start ringing in my head. Not the Social Link voices, these are... these are the voices of my friends? Igor: "We are experiencing the words engraved into your memory during your journey..."Oh man. Hearing Yosuke and Kanji reminds me of what we almost did tonight... we nearly pushed Namatame into the TV. If we had done that, what would have happened? Would the case have been solved? Eh, hell no. We did the right thing. Namatame may have thrown all those people into the TV, but I have a feeling that killing him would have only made things worse in many ways. Now, we're going to at least be able to try and find the truth, and that is what we'll do until we're satisfied. And we will do it together. Igor: "And it seems you have comrades with you as well... Those heading in the same direction through this dense fog."Hey! Why did we stop all of a sudden? Then again, never mind. Let's just roll with it. Igor: "As mentioned previously, this year will signal a great change in your life. Though there isn't much time left, it can be worth your while to take the time to stop and reflect."
Margaret: "People are like water flowing in a river. There is only one stream, but all who pass through it are affected differently. Some travel fast, some change their course... Experiencing countless events as they travel down the river of time..."Contemplation rather than action? Yeah... that sounds like the way to go at the moment. I... now what? Sounds like a bell ringing. Almost like... --- Sunday, December 4...the door? Someone's ringing the doorbell at this hour? What time is-- almost noon? Crap! I slept too long! I gotta get to... school? No, today is Sunday so... oh yeah, the door! Oh, for f***'s sake. Where did that bear disappear to? Apparently, he hasn't been seen anywhere in the area near Yosuke's place either, so no one knows where he is. Now I'm worried. Rise and Kanji are looking for him in the TV world and the others are at Junes, so we head there once I've cleaned up a bit. Rise thinks the fog might be affecting her reading, but I'm not so sure about that. Nah, he would have told us or at least left us some kind of a note saying that he's leaving. He wouldn't just disappear like that unless something happened. Okay, let's think for now. Exactly, that's what I thought! Naoto reminds us that we have more important things to worry about at the moment than Teddie's whereabouts. We need to talk to Namatame before he is relocated to another hospital, which is apparently going to happen quite soon. I guess the cops realized it might not be a good idea to have Namatame in the same building as Dojima right now. Yosuke still has the feeling something about the case doesn't seem right... Naoto: "Of the victims, only two were killed: Ms. Yamano, the announcer, and Saki-san. From the documents we found in the car, we know that Namatame had some sort of dealings with them. After that, there were multiple attempted murders, in which we were targeted... It was only when he took Nanako-chan that we caught him in the act, identifying his modus operandi in the process."Naoto: "As a result of Namatame's arrest, the police admitted that Mitsuo Kubo was a mere copycat killer."Yosuke: "That's what's bothering me."Rise: "Right... Either he's completely nuts, or we're misunderstanding something."Yosuke: "When he talks about 'saving' people, what does that actually mean? I don't think there's any doubt that it involves kidnapping people and throwing them into the TV."Well, if we assume the guy is totally off his rocker, it could be that he thinks of murder as a way of "saving" people. Salvation through death, or something like that. I don't know. Naoto seems to have a similar idea. Naoto: "He did call himself a 'savior' and said that the other side was a 'wonderful world'."No... no, there is definitely something else here. Something's off. Kanji: "If you think about it normally, it's gotta be him... But there ain't nothin' normal about that world anyways."
Yukiko: "There's something I've been wondering about for a while. When we first encountered him, he said..."
That's it! That's what I've been wondering about. If "saving = killing" according to Namatame, then he'd obviously have failed to "save" Yukiko and the others. Still, he said that he "saved" them all. This doesn't make any sense, does it? That too. If his intention was to save them by killing them, then what his Shadow was saying wouldn't make any sense whatsoever either. !!! He... he actually intended to save them? Save them from what? Yosuke: "But he's still the one who threw in Saki-senpai and the announcer, right? Sure, we haven't nailed down his motives, but that doesn't change the fact he killed them. Or what, you think someone else was involved? What makes you think so?"Now that he mentions it... hey, hold on a sec! The warning letter! You know, I have no idea. But that's not important now, what is important is that if Namatame is the killer, he would be the one who wrote the thing... now, let's think of what they said. The first one read "dont rescue anymore" and the other said something along the lines of "if you dont stop this time someone close to you will be put in and killed". Kanji: "Yeah, and the 'will be put in and killed' part doesn't make sense either... If the killer was writing it, wouldn't it be more like 'I'll put in and kill'?"Well, that, or the killer wanted to sound more theatrical or something. In any case, that doesn't sound like something Namatame would say. He has never said he killed anyone, he's just been talking about "saving" the whole time. Chie: "Hey... Could this mean...?"Yep. I am fairly sure Namatame did not write either one of the warning letters I got... but that would mean... Yukiko: "If someone else wrote it, that could only mean..."Yeah. I think we have the wrong guy. Holy hell. Talk about a surprising development. We were so convinced that it was Namatame who was behind all the murders... but suddenly, it's seeming less and less likely. Naoto: "Everything is exactly the opposite of what it first seemed... In Namatame's parlance, 'failing' would have been the first two cases, where the victims died. If he had used his method twice, and failed both times, he would hardly have continued using the TV. And yet he did. It all seems to suggest that someone else wrote this warning letter while observing the entire case..."Damn, she is good. But, umm... ...if Namatame isn't the killer, then who the hell is it? I guess we need to worry about talking to Namatame and hearing his side of the story before we do anything else. So, our next stop is the hospital. How do we get in his room, though? Kanji is saying they just tightened the security in there, and there's a police guard once again... Then again, that's why we have this lovely and talented lady around, right? ;D --- A while later, outside Namatame's hospital room...Recording, huh? That doesn't sound good... or, more precisely, wouldn't sound good if Naoto didn't have a plan. Let's see if it works on this guy. "Not that I expect you to get anything coherent out of him. He's been spouting nothing but gibberish."
Naoto (pointing at me): "I'd like him to accompany me as well. He has no identification, but this is an emergency situation and he's here in Detective Dojima's stead."
"Huh? Detective Dojima sent him? I was informed of this..."
Naoto: "I'll vouch for his identity."
"Well, I guess it's better than dealing with the man himself... We have our hands full with the transport procedures, so the last thing we need is Detective Dojima running wild. Detective Adachi is busy somewhere too..."(someone alerts the officer about some kind of commotion downstairs)This plan is actually working, isn't it? Naoto: Understood. Please be careful.I always expected the plan to work because Naoto is, quite frankly, a genius, but that was almost too easy. Oh well, at least we've found our way in. The others show up shortly. She's amazing, isn't she? All right, let's get in there. As Naoto put it, there isn't much inside that "suspicious object", so they won't be gone long. This might be our only chance to talk to Namatame, so what are we waiting for? Naoto: "It's tempting to think that you were the culprit behind the entire case. And to be honest, there are many in this town who hope you are. But we are here to learn the truth. So please... answer our questions."Namatame isn't saying anything, but he seems more alert and aware of his surroundings than before and probably understands what we're trying to ask. So... let's see. I'll just ask straight out if he killed Yamano and Konishi, that officer might be back any minute so we don't have time to waste. Namatame shakes his head and once again says he couldn't save them. Okay then... next question, I guess. ...Yukiko?! Yukiko was the first one he threw in? Then that means... that means it's pretty obvious that he didn't kill those girls after all! I suppose I should also ask him if "saving" means killing people, although I'm quite sure I know the answer already. Once again, Namatame shakes his head. Guys, I think we can now safely say that Namatame has not killed anybody. At least if he is telling the truth here, of course. Naoto: "After discovering the Yamano and Konishi incidents, you realized that an appearance on the Midnight Channel meant certain death. Thus, to 'save' her from that fate, you kidnapped Yukiko Amagi... You couldn't let her be killed, so you threw her into the TV, preventing the killer in this world from reaching her... And you repeated the process, as more individuals appeared on the Midnight Channel..."Namatame keeps nodding as if in affirmation as Naoto puts the pieces of the puzzle together. I think the guy is telling the truth here and he actually didn't kill anyone at any point... but then... ...then who the hell did? --- to be continued

Part 125: Namatame speaks--- I ask if Namatame has an idea of who the real culprit might be, but he says he doesn't know and would (obviously) like to know that himself. He also has no clue about the warning letters, he doesn't know what I'm talking about when I bring those up so I guess he didn't write those either. Then, there's the matter of him entering the TV after he put Nanako in. Why exactly did he do that in the first place? Naoto: "As I thought..."
Namatame: "You... believe me...?"Yeah... I think we can believe him for now. When Namatame realizes that we're willing to believe what he is saying, he seems to regain all of his energy all of a sudden and there's a hint of hope in his voice now, something that there hasn't been until now. Naoto tells him to calm down, as we won't be able to find the culprit without his help. Naoto: "We know about the other world. In fact, we're the only ones who can fully understand what you have to say." Man... I wonder what Yosuke is thinking right now. He was the one who REALLY wanted to put Namatame in that TV (which, by the way, is still here, I guess the cops wouldn't understand why it could be considered dangerous. Not that it would matter that much at this point since Namatame seems to be innocent, but still) last night. If I had let him do that, we would be quite royally f***ed right about now. Namatame: "All right..."Namatame starts talking. He is now speaking in a very articulate manner, as expected from a former council secretary, and his voice sounds absolutely nothing like the broken and defeated man he seemed like just a moment ago. Sure, it could be just because Naoto told him to tell us his story calmly and slowly, but it also feels like this isn't the shell of a man Namatame has been for the past few months, this is the real Namatame speaking to us now. As he speaks and his mind flashes back to last spring, I can actually SEE him go back there and his room appears right before my eyes (in Battlefield Earth-O-Vision, no less). I don't know what's up with that, but that's not important, it probably has to do with my Persona ability or something as I believe I've seen similar flashes before... Let's listen to his story. Reminiscing Namatame: "I returned to my parents' home, as if to run away from the scandal... and I started drinking heavily to drown my anxieties. I hadn't heard of Mayumi at all, and that didn't help, either."Reminiscing Namatame: "She'd been disgraced on all the afternoon shows and forced to resign from the program she was on. I caused her so much trouble... I wanted to at least apologize to her, but I couldn't even do that. I lost the will and energy to do anything... Then one day, the rumor I heard some time ago came back to me. Since I had nothing better to do, I sat down blankly in front of the TV and watched my own reflection... And all of a sudden, there was Mayumi."Reminiscing Namatame: "The Mayumi inside the TV looked as if she was calling to me for help..."Reminiscing Namatame: "My arm disappeared into the TV... as if I had dipped it into a pool of water. I was so shocked that I lost my balance and nearly fell face-first into the TV."Hm... that last part sounds familiar, I would have fallen into the TV myself if my TV wasn't so small. The flashback ends there and we're back in Namatame's hospital room. Namatame: "In the end, I decided to think of it as just a dream, and I went back to the city the next day after finishing work. The next afternoon, when I got to work... I was fired on the spot, as I expected."Namatame: "And not just that, but it had happened in my hometown. I was dumbstruck, but later on... I remembered the image of Mayumi I'd seen that night."Namatame: "So that image... was it something Mayumi showed me, calling for help...? That's how I felt."Of course, then he learned of the Midnight Channel. He remembered Mayumi had been investigating "some weird TV program" and had heard the rumor, but always thought it was just an urban legend... until Mayumi came on and then turned up dead a day or two later. Namatame didn't believe that these incidents were unrelated, so he then came back to Inaba to answer the police's questions and possibly find out the truth about her death. That's when Namatame saw Saki Konishi on the Midnight Channel. Once again, it seemed to him as if she wanted him to help, and he was certain that Saki would be the next one to die if he didn't do something about it. He recognized her as the girl who had discovered Yamano's body and really, desperately wanted to save her from suffering that same fate. Namatame met Saki when he was delivering a package to the liquor store one day. At this point of the story, I feel another flashback coming... Unfortunately, Saki didn't seem to understand what he was talking about when he tried to warn her, and later that night... Namatame: "The next day, they found her dead."Namatame knew that it would happen, but no one would listen to him and so he wasn't able to prevent Saki's death, for which he blamed himself, thinking there had to be something he could have done. Damn. Poor guy. Namatame: "I was... I was beside myself... I couldn't forgive myself for doing nothing!"Namatame: "Before I was married, my wife made it big in the show business. I was happy for her, but it put a strain on our relationship. It was around that time when I met Mayumi... She was interviewing our candidate for the next election. She was a big-name announcer, but she only worked with the local stations, and her attitude towards work was similar to mine. We both came from Inaba, so she was easy to talk to... I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't help getting intimate with her."Damn... I feel more sorry for the guy than ever. I know (and he knows) that he did the wrong thing when he cheated on his wife with Yamano, but he didn't deserve to get his life ruined like this. Namatame: "Soon after Saki-san was found dead, yet another girl appeared on the TV."That girl was, of course, Yukiko. Ah... seems like we're going to see another one of Namatame's flashbacks here. Reminiscing Namatame: "My opponent was a murderer who left no clues to his identity... I thought hard about what I could do to protect her from someone like that."Reminiscing Namatame: "The girl inside the TV looked as if she was smiling at me. And... that's when it hit me."Smiling at him? Huh? When Yukiko appeared on the Midnight Channel, she just stood there and I don't remember her smiling at me... then again, it's been a long time, so I might have forgotten. Right, carry on... Reminiscing Namatame: "I apparently had the power to go through the TV screen to the other side. Then, what if I put her into the TV and give her shelter there before the killer gets her...?"Reminiscing Namatame: "The girl inside the TV seemed to smile at me again... and I thought, no matter what kind of place it might be, it's better than being slaughtered. Once things calmed down, I could just let her out again..."Reminiscing Namatame: "It felt as if everything was starting to come together in my mind. Could it be... that Mayumi gave me that power, to prevent any more victims from meeting her fate...? Was it my mission to save people?"
Reminiscing Namatame: "If I explained the situation to the victim, they wouldn't understand. I had already tried that and failed miserably. It seemed the only thing I could do was to take them away. If that was my mission... I'd just have to do it... Or so I thought."Once again, the flashback ends there... Namatame says he thought he was the only one who could help. He called the police but they wouldn't believe him, and he had his truck and knew the area well... and because of his job as a deliveryman, he could move around without looking suspicious and so it would be the perfect cover for his mission. However... Naoto tells him how the TV world actually works and that if a person is still there when the fog appears on our side, they die. Thus, Namatame ended up putting Yukiko and the others in mortal peril... peril from which we saved them. Namatame recounts how things went after he had kidnapped Nanako. He had the police on his tail and figured that if he was caught, it would be the end and he wouldn't be able to save Nanako from dying. So, he put her into the TV and went in after her to make sure she is safe. That is a good point. If you look at the case from Namatame's point of view, it would appear that he actually WAS saving the victims. He says he didn't even know that you couldn't get out of the TV world on your own... once there, he felt like he was going insane, and the next thing he knew he was here in this hospital room. Damn... Namatame: "I always wanted to enter the world of politics, and become useful to society. But after losing my job and the woman I loved... all I had left was this power. I convinced myself that world was some sort of sanctuary... And I secretly believed myself to be a hero."You can see on Yosuke's face right now that he is feeling like a complete asshole for what we almost did last night. Hell, I kinda feel that way myself... I was about ready to kick his head in after Nanako almost died. He might have inadvertently caused harm to Nanako and the others, but I understand now that all Namatame wanted to do was to save everyone from getting killed. He wanted to do the right thing all along, even if his methods were somethat questionable. Seriously. I tell him I understand what he was trying to do. Namatame: "I have no intentions of running away from my crimes. I'm prepared to face the consequences. Kidnapping is already a serious crime... and on top of that, I put all those lives in danger."Man. Yeah... technically speaking he kidnapped Nanako and all the others, but can you blame him? He thought he was the only one who could save them from getting killed, and he tried to save their lives by any means necessary, no matter what might happen to him in the process. He may have misunderstood how the TV world works, but besides that he's not really any different from us and what we are doing. Can we blame him from trying to do the right thing? As far as I'm concerned, Namatame is a hero (a bit of a tragic one because of his failure to understand the Midnight Channel, but one nonetheless) and deserves a freaking medal for his efforts. At the very least, we can all agree that he is most certainly not a villain by any means. That, too. We almost made a horrible, horrible mistake last night. Yosuke now understands everything as well. Seriously, I can't even imagine what is going through his head right now. He was so convinced that Namatame killed Saki Konishi and was ready to kill Namatame himself to avenge her, but now that's all gone out of the window, Namatame didn't kill anyone and Yosuke understands what Namatame was trying to do all along. There's still another mystery for us to solve, though... that of the REAL killer. Who can that be? No, man, you've helped us more than you can possibly imagine. Thank you on behalf of us all. The police guard comes back and tells us to scram, but it's okay... we got all the information we came for and then some. That is the plan. Don't worry, we'll find the one who did this and stop him. Indeed... the only thing we have to do is to find out who the real culprit is. But how are we actually going to do that? Oh well, let's go see Nanako now and talk about the case on the way. That guard looks and sounds pissed. She's going to be fine. I know it. Yeah, he really wouldn't leave just like that. But let's forget about Teddie for a sec and try to find the real killer. Maybe Teddie will show up sooner or later. Naoto mentions that the police have concluded their investigation on the case, and that means we will have to do everything ourselves. Fine by me. Of course, it's been so long by now that the trail is probably cold already, but we'll have to try. We're not going to give up now. Let's do this. Time to head to town and talk to people to see if anyone remembers anything about the case. With any luck, we might find some hints that could lead us to the truth. ---

I haven't posted any concept art recently, so I thought now would be a good time. The next update is a big one, and I don't want to have it at the end of this page because no one ever reads the last post on a page. I've noticed that numerous times on this board... So yeah, this is obviously concept art of Naoto. Some sketches seem to hide her true gender better than others... the second one from the left in the top row kinda looks like Nodoka Manabe from K-On! if you ask me. Bottom row center (and right) looks a LOT like the (male) main character of Persona 3. And here's some design sketches of Teddie. I like the one on the bottom left, I think Teddie would be slightly less annoying if he looked more like that. There were also sketches of the TV world main hub, this one is particularly cool... Finally, here's some of Rise. Some of these sketches look more like Ai Ebihara (according to the English version of the art book, some of these were used to create her), and others bear a resemblance to Lisa Silverman a.k.a. Ginko from Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Okay, that's it for the fun behind the scenes stuff, next time we're gonna have a proper update again. EDIT: By the way, I just now found out that Chie's English voice actress (who, as I made pretty clear in the early chapters of this LP, I really can't stand and was one of the main reasons I switched to the unofficial patched edition of the game with the original Japanese voices) is actually several years younger than her Japanese seiyu (Yui Horie, who you might remember from anime series such as Love Hina). So, instead of a 30+ woman trying to sound like a high school girl which happens in the Japanese version with great success, we have a (then) 23-year-old woman trying to sound like a high school girl.
