Something a little odd about having a mountain sized Rock Snake following you everywhere you go.

There was a thread about this, but it was a while ago, and it didn't have this additional tid-bit of info.
And, boy, what a tid-bit this is. That is damned awesome that they're giving such a feature another go-around.

This is my most awaited game. I loved GS, and i can't wait to play a version that doesn't need a new internal battery.

If Pokemon we're real I'd ride a Steelix everywhere, it could probably withstand a nuclear blast.

Depends whether the damage would be calculated as Physical or Special, I did an Earthquake on a Steelix and it only took 50% damage.

I hope I can name my guy "The Brian Kendrick" so then I can have my Victreebell which I named "Big Zeke" follow me around.
Personally I dunno what I think about this feature, I didn't like it so much in Yellow. It served no real purpose. If having a certain one follow you can help in certain parts. Like if you have a pokemon that knows "Cut" then you'd be able to cut down a...what the hell are those, weeds or something?...anyway, cut them down by just hitting a button instead of having to pull up the menus or hit A next to it. Or if you have one that knows Surf you can just walk into the water and you'll surf with no menus.

Though I believe in the pic with the Wobbuffet it states "Wobbuffet has an item", which I think means it's almost like the Amity Square place in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum where that Pokemon would find and hold an item for you as you walk.

I'm looking forward to the pedometer more, you put a pokemon in it and it gains expiereince and/or money while walking around.

Could call him Spanky or TBK. What about Bryan Ken? I'm looking forward to the pedometer more I was very crreped out by this word when I first read it. I was starting to picture some sort of device that spots sex offenders and displays their level of perversion.

On the original version of Silver, I named all of my main party Pokemon after wrestlers. What a great game that was He's from my Pearl copy so it would take a few badges before I could trade them over. I've acquired quite the collection in the 40-60 range...if I could get...I think the 5 or 6th badge I could beat the game with both hands tied behind my back from there. I'd have a Blastoise, Typhlosion, TWO Bronzongs (one with Fireproof, one with Levitate), Electivire, and of course the aforementioned "Big Zeke". And to be honest I was just trying to think of nicknames and started going through wrestler names. Hey, it's better than the file on it when I got Pearl (used) or all the other people I see online using dictator names, it's so cliche.

If the Gold/Silver remakes are anything like the Red/Green remakes, you'll have to beat the game before you can start trading with the newer generations.
