This has been a long awaited game on my part. I love the game and all, but it does have its problems.

I love this review. Probably one of my favorites, but he missed three important things on the first Godzilla NES game.
1. Gigan is a cheap jerk who corners you with his stomach saw and you gotta pray that he doesnt do that the entire time.
2. There are fireballs (with mechanical ends so I guess they are mechanical fireballs) that will drain alot (if not all) of your life if you are not careful. You cant even kill them
3. You have to kill one of the monsters (Mothera is always the one to kill) for you to move to the next stage.

A Godzilla strategy game!? Who thought that was a good idea? I actually like the concept of a RTS where you have to drive the big G off. However, it'd be nearly impossible to win.

No....if you play a game called Godzilla, you kinda want to play as Godzilla. Godzilla 2 was a mess and you had a multitude of episodes where you fail.

Godzilla: Save the Earth is actually a terribly underrated and surprisingly quality game. Pick it up if you're a G-fan and see it in stores.
He forgot "Domination!" for the GBA which was also quite kickass.

Err, I've actually beaten the first Nintendo Godzilla game multiple times...and actually...Mothra is probably the best monster in the game. She has this skinny line body so few of the level creatures can hurt her...PLUS she can easily get into positions where the boss monsters can't touch her at all either. Her only drawback is the knockback thing, but once you kinda figure out how to manuver with her, you DON'T get hit anyway. However, Godzilla IS a lot faster at killing monsters, and it's best to try to use him when you can (even though he sucks in the walking levels and againt Gigan) because he has the easiest time with King Ghidora. I didn't think this game was that bad, but to each their own I guess.

I disliked Godzilla on the NES. I had absolutely no clue what i was suppose to be doing so i just wander around the board, playing the same stages over and over again. I perfered Ramage and if they had made a Rampage clone and slapped the name Godzilla on it, that was all I needed. I feel like the PS2 Godzilla game, Save The Earth, was a lot better than some of you are giving it credit for. I liked it quite a bit but meh.
