Yeah I figured something was up a little bit after, but still. Figure she might be a demon pulling something like Johnathan or Anya did. Don't want to look it up though, I'll just wait to be surprised. When the story plays out its worth it Yes it does. If we're talking WTF moments in the television, how about the ending of The Sopranos? I know it's been beat to death here, but I hated the way that series ended. And what about Happy Days when the older brother just disappeared, and there was no mention of him ever again? But I did like on Fresh Prince of Bel Air how only Jazz realized not only that the mother was different when they changed actresses, but when the kid had an age spurt between seasons. If I remember correctly (after the kid thing), he left the house muttering something about the strange things that happen in that house. Or on Boy Meets World where the daughter returns from the longest time out ever?

Also, the Charmed season with the sorcerers school. Look, ripping Harry Potter doesn't work for a semi-realistic adult-oriented series about 3 sexy witches in an urban town who openly discuss their sexuality between when they're not blowing up demons.

In an episode of House, an operation is about to start, just when House discovers the patient has a tapeworm. So House just barges into the operation room, takes his scalpel, cuts a nice line on the patient's stomach and PULLS OUT the worm. Yyyeeaaaah, right. First, I don't think anyone, even House, would ever be allowed to just enter an operation room and cut someone open without explaining themselves and without being tackled to the ground. Second, I'm no surgeon, but I doubt they just make a single cut without even paying attention to extract a freaking worm that is twisted around someone's organs. Besides, while House apparently has skills in surgery, he is a diagnostician and isn't a specialist in such operations, so why did anyone let him pick up a scalpel in the first place? My understanding is that House was a surgeon that excelled at diagnostics. Remember, despite his brilliance House has always had trouble maintaining a stable position until Cuddy hired him (both because of his personality and his college plagiarism issues). That means that he probably did whatever work was available to him. He prefers diagnostics and is the best at that in the field, but he has apparently worked as a surgeon when he needed to.

Heroes last season. seriously how freaking many members of the Petralli family HAVE to have screen time and have to be a big deal? Stop it already. I am seriously giving that show one last chance.

Oh yeah how could I forget heroes, I hate how they kill off all the new interesting charachters but keep all the old ones.

The Final 10 minutes of Bobobobobobobobo is full of WTF Moments.
Thank god, the comic conculdes this story arc, and had a couple more storylines.

Or on Boy Meets World where the daughter returns from the longest time out ever? I think they make a joke about that. That and when they bring in Mingis back in for a cameo when they were in High School, and he "talks" to one teacher (I forget his name), and Cory mentions how they never go to that part of they school.

and a pre-emptive supernatural's lucifier being anyone other than jon bon jovi. Lucifer's going to be Jacob from LOST and *edited due to religion talks* HEROES: The weekly (or sometime actly) retconning of Sylar and Peter's abilities last year. HEROES: Clair's blood brought Nathan back to life after DaysOfPeterPast shot him. Her blood heals. Why do the Exiles plot? Why not wait until mid season to hint that it's not sticking rather than two minutes?

****WARNING SPOILERs FOR BATTLESTAR GALACTICA****
I loved Battlestar Galactica but I found it odd that the a lot of the Humans were very quick to forgive the Rebel Cyclons considering that they performed mass genocide on the human race just a few years before.
Also when they discovered the burnt out wasteland Earth. Why didn't the fleet and the rebel Cyclons just go back to Kobol. Luscious Green planet right there.

That would have been Mr. Turner. The actor who played him left the series to star in one that didn't last too long. Oh well ...And yes, they made a joke about it. That's why I used that term.

2 words...... Arman Tamzarian. Having read interviews with Ken Keeler... I can see the point he was making about that episode. I think people need to relax their stance on continuity in the Simpsons a touch, because it's been ridiculous from very early on.

Also when they discovered the burnt out wasteland Earth. Why didn't the fleet and the rebel Cyclons just go back to Kobol. Luscious Green planet right there. Kobol might have been a lush, green planet, but it was a lush, green, OCCUPIED planet. The Cylons knew where it was, and their only real hope at the time was to find a new planet that the Cylons would not find them at. Had Gina not set off that nuke over New Caprica, that could have granted them a good, lasting opportunity to reboot their civilization and industry (particularly military). Basically, none of the planets that they knew of was suitable for one reason or another. As far as accepting the rebel Cylons, that was not as smooth as you suggest. Bear in mind, by that time it was a case of they needed to take that chance. They could not send them away for a number of reasons. 1) Depleted resources meant that they needed the Basestar. It was a military resource that could not be ignored. 2) The fleet was starting to get in dire straights in non-military assets. They were down to about a third of the number of ships that they started with but they had slightly more than half of the population that they started with. They started with at least two, if not three, refinery ships but appeared to be down to only one at the end. They NEEDED to find a new planet and they were running out of ideas. The Cylons could have helped, even if Adama had to eventually use force against them to get that help. 3) The Cylons only got accepted because Roslin and Adama decided to take them in. The rest of the fleet rejected them to the point that the mutiny occurred.

Well, since movies are included in the thread title I'm gonna say when my ex wife suckered me into seeing Titanic and people are drowning each other to float on their corpses yet no one contests the floating piece of wood that whatshername is floating on. And Land of the Lost. How can anyone still think Will Ferrel is funny?

TITANIC: that piece of wood Kate Winslet was sitting on was big enough to hold Leo as well.
BATTLESTAR GALATICA: The way the producers decided who was a Cylon (throwing darts at pictures of the cast) seems to imply they really had no game plan (hence the let down when the final Cylon was revealed)
SOUTHlaND: See my thread on that show.
CHUCK: This up coming season, they hired Kristen Kruink (LANA!!!! THE ONE WE MUST ALL WORSHIP BECAUSE SHE IS SO f***ING BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT THAT THE SHOW REVOLVES AROUND HER NOT CLARK!!! from SMALLVILLE and star of the instaclassic STREET FIGHTER: THE BORING SAGA OF CHUN LI)
