Chalk me up for a Heel that's a heel against heels.
I was originally gonna go Tweener, but yeah then I realised that it would make no sense.

It works for my character because he's against EVERYBODY. A complete loner. Kind of a Cactus Jack/Raven and Bad News Brown mix.

Well, if we are jive character talking, although my character is a massive prick, I do think he has several funny moments, and has enough standards to not like Yellowjacket and Seth's tight-assed, holier-then-thou characters, which is redeemable.

That's true. It also works if a big ugly guy is fighting a asshole pretty boy. Most likey the ugly guy is going to get cheered. People would find it redeemable that a guy who used to get picked on by these pretty boy pricks, now wants to fight them.

Then there's my guy who has a vendetta against the world and refuses anyone's sympathy or aid. (His mottor is Neither Enemy Nor Friend) But instead of going with the whole Lone Wolf route which would make him a face, it's someone who refuses to view anyone as his equal, pays no respect. Quite fun.

My character is one of those celebrities who's famous for no reason. I've got the ego of an A-List actor, and am pretty much a douche to everyone. Since winning the King of Wrestlecrap though, while the crown on my character is gonna act all civil and respectable. Then I'll take the crown off and be a dick.

In a sense, he does want peoples sympathy for how his screwed up life made him the way he is. But, a lot of people won't give it to him because for all the things that he's done. But your right, being a loner in it of itself can make the character face.

Maybe this is why most of the characters are Heel/tweeners.... they are much more multilayered.

A couple months ago I almost broke a newcomers neck just to get the 'respect' I crave from the WWCF CEO. I then took out my Tag Team Titles partner because he was old and selling me short (I had gotten us 4 wins in a row, and he was calling me his protege and what not. He was my protege, not the other way around. etc.) Not long after that, I entered the King of Wrestlecrap tournament in an attempt to get respect, while doing things the right way (which is me cheating as much as possible without getting caught by the referees). Needless to say, I won, and now I'm up for the WWCF Championship this month. Good times, good times.

That's pretty much my plan. ;D

I'll add my fellow in to the convo: Basically he's a man who got fed up with how the corrupt and immoral have been the only ones to thrive and grow and those who work their asses off and try as hard as they can are always destined to struggle and fail. He sees government and popular media facilitating conformity and order by manipulating people into being materialistic and selfish making them more interested in whether or not they're ipods are obsolete and less in whether or not their society and economy is handing itself to corrupt individuals and stripping away freedom for safety. He believes that his purpose in life is to bring chaos to the order and eventually order to the chaos.

I really like those kind of gimmicks where the guy truely believes that what he's doing is right, even though he does really heelish things.

I thought that it would work well if he was a face as well.... he could promote individuality and standing up for yourself and always following your dreams despite what everyone else tells you..
BTW I like your guy as well.... we should start a faction sometime together and see where it goes....

As for me, my character acts and believes that he's some kind of super hero, but the main problem about this is that he has a very vague idea about being one. Not quite sure about what counts as evil deeds, but on the other hand, is very firm about the idea of violence saving the day. Something like that.

I could see your character being all inspirational and trying to set me straight.

Also, my current character and my old one is the same person, and the fact that my old character was kinda an asshole will be a factor to the superhero attitude of my current one. Basically, it might become like this, 1. Superhero 2. Superhero-version of a corrupt cop(?) 3. ( ) Or not.

Can see my character eventually become an oddball face, kinda like Mankind back in the late 90's. I've always been intrigued by the "Maniac Oddball".
