They could have just made the list a tie between all the albums produced this decade and saved us a debate. Honestly, I am the biggest Pearl Jam fan there is. I own all their albums. I am shocked that at least one of them didn't make this list. Pick one. Riot Act in particular was like the Sound of White Noise. Their self-title 2007 release also left no impression on me. Binarual I can take or leave.

44. The Darkness: 'One Way Ticket To Hell... And Back' (2005) 41. Guns N Roses: 'Chinese Democracy' (2008)
Both great albums. Sure, One Way Ticket wasn't as good as The Darkness's first album, but it still had some good stuff on it. And Chinese Democracy? Seriously? That album has some great songs, including what I consider one of the best songs of the decade, "This I Love".

I honestly don't think Chinese Democracy is anywhere near bad enough to warrant a place on this list. Right, and I knew it would be. I love the album and no way should it be on any worst list.

I agree with all of them, but why isn't Brokencyde placed at number 1?

I personally liked about ten albums on that list and they get regular play on the iPhone.
I also dislike when people throw things like Jonus Brothers or Crazy Frog on the list, seriously kids love this stuff like crack. It is not meant for adults and should not even be looked on in the same scale.
It's like comparing a kids game on the Wii to a new Zelda game, both will sell huge numbers, but one is for one demo and another is set for a whole differnt group.

James Blunt at #19? Really???
I know he's a punch line now, but the album was very solid, and it sold like hotcakes. I am a fan of his.

I think Chinese Democracy kind of has the Daikatana affect going for it. The album's average, and nowhere near the previous works of the involved parties, but due to the massive amount of hype, along with the tremendous waiting period for Democracy, it just sort of seems like being stabbed brutally in the gut with a knife, instead of music.

Standing on the Shoulder of Giants is a top album. Very downbeat and different as others have said but it is still a good one and in no way deserves to be on that list.
I liked it more than Heathen Chemistry.

What kind of ruse caused Avril Lavigne's debut album to show up on here? Sure it had Sk8r boy, but other than that I thought it was decent quality stuff, personally.
A bit too much of a subjective-based list for me, way too many of the albums fall into the category of not being the article author's "style" rather than actual quality. With that said I at least agree with number one, that was ghastly and at the time people were making it out to so amazing over here.

I agree with all of them, but why isn't Brokencyde placed at number 1? Because they're a self parody?

Robin Williams had an album? Or is that someone else? It's a running joke in the UK, that Robbie Williams is a complete unknown in the US & Canada.
