Terrible, horrible movie. Poor Lea and poor Mr. Rooney.

Some films don't deserve the horrible reputation that they have. Howard the Duck is not one of those films.

Did anyone else get freaked out by the Dark Overlords? I remember the tentacles that sproted from its hands made me scared as a wee lad. Man, that monster used to scare the shit out of me when I was little. Thing is, now I can't even remember what it looked like. I came into this thread mainly looking for a picture of it. So.........thanks.

Howard the Duck is the worst creation of George Lucas. Really? No....that's not rhetorical, either. Really?? THIS disagrees: Not that that's out of the way, I just wanted to say that growing up I enjoyed Howard The Duck. It had a little bit of everything: A wise-cracking anthropomorphic duck....a really hot early 80's rock chick....Mr. Rooney/possessed Mr. Rooney....horrifying creatures from the other side of the Galaxy....Tim Robbins acting like an idiot....and last but certainly not least, interspecies hook-ups. How could you go wrong with this?

Howard the Duck is the worst creation of George Lucas. Most of the prequels and the new Indiana Jones movie begs to differ. All kidding aside, Howard The Duck was one of the first movies I remember seeing, which probably explains a lot about me. I love it.
