.... Ok, I'll ask.
Why do the Athletes outnumber the others? Seems a little unfair.

.... Ok, I'll ask. Why do the Athletes outnumber the others? Seems a little unfair. Four former contestants from previous seasons were brought in in the first show (each fitting into one of the cliques), and each clique tried to win a competition in which the winning clique got the additional member. The Athletes one, and Jessie the Bodybuilder from Season 10 got to enter the house as a member of their team.

You could argue its 3 members of the athletes since Jeff is trying to separate himself from them. He's playing this game all wrong I think, Jeff is. The athletes could easily dominate the season if they all just worked together.

Jeff isn't really playing the game. He's letting emotions get the best of him. He seems like a decent guy, but he has to stop taking everything so personally. He's floating around with no real alliances (he's sort of in with Jordan and Laura by default, but still). He was trying to get in Ronnie's good graces last night last night on "BB: After Dark", but it may not be enough.
By the way, the others coming up to see Ronnie's HoH room was hilariously awkward. Especially when he expressed dismay that he had received the wrong "Legally Blond" soundtrack.

I think the only ones playing the game so far are Jessie, Natalie, Russell, and Ronnie. Everyone else just seems sorta there. I was reading some stuff from the feeds, and it seems like Laura and Jordan don't want to be there anymore, which is sad b/c there are hundreds of thousands of people who would love to be where they are right now.

Judging from last night's After Dark, Jordan, Laura, Jeff, and Michelle had basically no interest in doing anything. They all looked completely depressed to just be there. Casey seemed to be a little more engaged, but not much. The Athletes have formed a powerful block with both Lydia and Chima hanging around them, and Ronnie being used to their advantage.

Well, Michelle is like a neuroscientist or whatever the hell she is. So she has a great job that probably pays very well, so I'm assuming she doesn't need the money. Same goes for Laura, who hinted that she's well off. Jordan and Jeff don't look like they are hurting either. It's a weird cast, I like the concept, but in years past, you can kinda tell which houseguests needed it more than others, and this year...it just seems like half the houseguests don't really need it.
I'm actually pulling for Jessie. I think he got the shaft last season.

Everyone hates Jessie, but the guy cracks me up with his stupid faces and ridiculous ego. Every time they show him doing something like flexing in a mirror while no one is around, I lose it.

Russell basically drunkenly turning on his team and calling out Lydia made me way too happy.

Russell basically drunkenly turning on his team and calling out Lydia made me way too happy. Yeah, this alliance is going to collapse soon. Way too much ego in there for them to maintain a cohesive power block. The first cracks appeared tonight. Hell, they were talking about backdooring Russel at one point.

Well...they are trying to backdoor Russell now, but Jessie got wind of it and that plan seems to be off.
Oh, and Ronnie admitted that he didn't vote for Chima, which basically means that Ronnie has to pray his team wins HOH next week.

I've never seen so many detestable people on a single season of a show before.

I've never seen so many detestable people on a single season of a show before. I can't decide who I loathe the most out of Russel, Natalie, and Chima. They all disgust me quite a bit, for different reasons. Ronnie scares me more than disgusts me. Dude is psychotic behind that nerd facade.

Natalie seems OK.
Its up in the air if the plan is to backdoor Russell now. Jordan pissed Ronnie off and dude looks like he's playing more on emotion now than strategy.

Natalie is a maniacal little s*** stirrer. She's awful. She and Chima double-teamed Michele on "After Dark" a few nights back for absolutely no good reason. Just lit into the girl and basically stopped this side of calling her a racist for how she voted. f*** the both of them.

Chima, yeah she's annoying. She basically forced Casey to agree to her decision b/c she threatened to vote him out.
Natalie...eh, she's adorable.

I'm definitely more of a Survivor fan than anything else, so I keep going back to it for references. I swear, Ronnie may as well be the nerdy version of Todd from Survivor: China. Like, all that's missing is an immensely more awesome person bailing him out every time he's in trouble, but him being so full of himself he thinks he's doing it himself. His little ego maniacal speech to Casey outside when they were talking about who flipped was just embarrassing. Casey's look more or less summed up my thoughts on the matter. "Really? ....no, REALLY?". Ronnie's obviously one of those people who has never had a taste of power of any sort in his life, and now that he has some he's going absolutely bazoo with it. His elimination is going to be so, so sweet. Not half as sweet as Chima's, who just seems like a total inwardly ugly person, but sweet none the less.
