I seem to remember earlier in his career,Orton went for the Overdrive on someone and shanked it really badly, what's worse it got left in and the viewers at home saw it
I also remember at a TV taping,Undertaker was taking on Shamrock and Shamrock forgot to kick out of a power move, causing them to have to re-start the match.
As for storyline wise,I'd say the Kidman heel turn on London, anybody with a half a working brain saw that one coming...the only way it could have been decent was if they swerved and London was the one to turn.(For examples of good heels turns, check out Peter Maivia turning on Backlund, and Victor Rivera turning heel on his re-debut in the WWF)
What I thought was another dumb moment was on one of the first Piper's Pit,Piper has Orndorff as his guest and goes on how Paul was the only man brave enough to come into Piper's Pit.....never mind the fact Piper was his manager/tag partner at the time...even as a kid that was so obvious to me it wasn't funny

Sting is definetly the dumbest storyline wrestler ever. He trusts everyone and would pay the price for it. Sting is definitely the dumbest storyline wrestler. Also, anytime a dastardly heel reveals their dastardly secret plan to another wrestler RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. (Bonus dumbness goes to any face wrestler who still falls for the secret plan, after it was shown to 20 million people.)

I love hacksaw jim duggan, but he's gotta be the most retarded wrestler ever. I guess that's why I mark out for eugene but that whole interrupting the Bolsheviks from singing Cara Mia, the Russian National Anthem. Then saying,"THIS IS THE LAND OF FREE SPEECH! I CAN't LET YOU SiNG!" I don't think "Cara Mia" is the Russian nation anthem...that can't be right...

Allow the Doctor of Old School to clear this one up When Sheik and Volkoff teamed, they always had the same pre-match ritual:Finkel would ask the audience to stand while Volkoff sang the national anthem, then Volkoff would sing the actual Russian National Anthem, follow by Sheik and his "IRAN NUMBER ONE!RUSSIA NUMBER ONE!USA *SPIT*" On of of the Wrestling Albums(pretty sure it was the first one,but not positive),Volkoff covered "Cara Mia",a Jay and the Americans tune from the 60's. Hacksaw cut them off, literally (they showed him holding a cut microphone cord) while Volkoff and Sheik were doing the Russian Anthem/Iran number one thing.

LOL. Thank you Doctor. If anyone wants to hear a good song, by the way, download "Cara Mia" by Jay & the Americans. I've never heard Volkoff's version, but I'd assume it's not as good.

one of the dumbest things i ever saw was sometime in '99 or '00 (??) but i got home from a friend's house and promptly switched to RAW on my television set. the first thing i saw was stone cold and the rock singing eachother showtunes and other songs. i then promptly changed the channel to something else. maybe i should have seen what happened before they started singing, but eh. can anyone please tell me why they were doing this?

that Rock/Austin thing your talking about happened in late 2001, near the end of the Invasion. Actually I think this may have happened more then once, but this was the time that they sang "Margaritaville" together and then Rock gave Austin the Rock Bottom at the end because they were about to lead in Team WWF and Team Alliance into the Survivor Series, i forget what set that up, but i remember what a classic moment it was and i taped it and watched it numerous times afterwards.

Chris Daniels jobbing to Bobby Quance and demanding a rematch. He found out seconds later it was Quance last match before reporting to duty of the naval service. Yes Quance is in the Navy.
