Deadpool is quickly becoming the new Wolverine over at Marvel.
He has 3 ongoing series and the only person who makes more guest appearances than him in Marvel right now is Norman Osborn.
Now today Marvel announced 1 of their 2 ending miniseries for Dark Reign: Doomwar which will feature a team of the X-Men, F4, Deadpool, and Black Panther going after Dr. Doom.
Also today, news also came out that there will be:
So the question is how much is too much? I love the character and would hate to see Marvel burn him out

Oh come on. I was a huge fan back in the Joe Kelly days and kind of resent all the johnny come latelys that jumped on board after Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool/Baraka/sterotypical silent antagonist in a not great movie.

God sake Marvel, leave the guy alone (Hardly anyone can write good Doom anymore, Aside from Brubaker) It was bad enough he got arrested for doing NOTHING in Venom Bomb

Brother tell me about it. I love the fact that others are getting to experience Deadpool, but at the same time I feel like "I've like him for a long time now! He's mine! Not yours!" lol

If they write him better, I am ok with it, but little of what is around resembles the Wade I knew.
And What third ongoing? I am kind of out of the loop.

Okay, let's see what has been going on recently (and you aren't kidding with the thing about how much he's changed recently). Mini-Series/One Shots: Suicide Kings That Carnival one I can't remember the name of Ongoings: Deadpool Is Merc With A Mouth an Ongoing? Deadpool Team Up which is coming up. Plus he's shown up in everything from Ms. Marvel to Hulk. I'm making it a point to collect EVERY 'Pool appearance ever so lately I've had to buy a whole bunch of books I wouldn't have otherwise.

This week "Deadpool #900" comes out with 104 pages of Deadpooly goodness. Then the book becomes "Deadpool Team-Up" with the next issue, #899, and the series will be numbered backwards So that means the 3 ongoings are: Deadpool Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth Deadpool Team-Up

Honestly from what I've seen Deadpool is basically a comedy character most of the time So I'll just view the Deadpool Corps as Parody

Look, dude, that was my favorite comic back in the day and was always on the chopping block when canceling time came around. I can't help but wonder where all these "fans" were when that was going on. And why if everyone is so into him why nobody is demanding the return of Blind Al. Then I remember that most of the current fans have loved him since the day before Free Comic Book day and have no clue who Blind Al is.

Let's see.
We have his series, with him as an X-Man now. For mini's, there Suicide Kings that ended, Merc with a Mouth, and something else. He's got the Games of Death and the upcoming #900 one shot, along with a poster book and retrospective with Rob Liefeld. You have appearances in Ms Marvel, Hulk, and the Shang-Chi one shot. He has appearances in Wolverine vs. Hulk and Ultimate Alliance 2

He totally admits to being a new fan of Deadpool. There is nothing wrong with that. No need to jump on him for it. Believe me I know how you feel, but in a way... at least now we don't always have to worry that Deadpool will be canclled right? Also, Deadpool needs to start answering letters again dammit.
