I think I'm going to marry it.
It has a soundtrack that would make most of the ______ Hero and ______ Band games weep, and it's friggin hilarious. I didn't post this in either of the current gen console threads since it'd be buried and it's cross-platform anyway.
It's so ridiculous, and it's one of the few times I've bought a game in recent years that I haven't instantly regretted dropping 60 dollars on it. It makes me smile, cuz I get most of the references/stuff going on.
In all, yeah, I can see where it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the hell out of it.

It's on my list to get. But not having a job for 3 months makes that list grow longer and longer.

That's one hell of a soundtrack. Kind of surprised at having only two Tenacious D songs, what with it being JB's game and all.

It's got Jack Black all over it, and only two Tenacious D songs?
Is there a cameo by KG?

He's a dude who mans a cannon. Also there may be more than what's listed on that soundtrack lineup, since I definitely heard a Def Leppard song during a boss fight event.

There are some Def Leppard songs. Man, I must've missed them somehow in that immense list. I just couldn't find "Rock of Ages" listed but I suck at sorting through long lists.

I can't wait to get it. The fact that you can play the game with the swearing and blood and decapitations turned on or off already shows why Tim Shafer is the only thing that can save videogames as we know.

Ive played through this game twice and i will admit ive enjoyed this game more than any other game in the past few years. Its not very often that a game makes me laugh...let alone every 5 minutes.
Being a "metalhead" since i was 5 years old i appreciated all the "metal gestures and lore" this game presented. Some nice cameos and many things in the world reminiscant of oldschool metal.
Although my taste is music has differed greatly since the 80's i enjoyed the soundtrack greatly, many nostalgia inducing songs and hell they even have some black/death metal(my favorite genres of music) If your into metal this game is an absolute must!

Of course, the "true" version of the game is the unedited version with the cursing and gore. How can I tell this? Well because on the pop-up menus for choosing what to edit, Schafer basically is hinting that editing anything would make you really lame.
