Who's talking to me!? Is that Jack Bauer?
Well, I'm not a vampire. I'm a Cthulhu minion.

Not the weirdest cliffhanger this season. Still more confused as how
SPOILERRRRRRRRRR
Merlott was able to survive a direct stab to the heart and then somehow be able to stealthily drink half of Bill's blood, get down from the offering, find a bhrama bull with purple horns and change into it a quareter mile away from everything in the span of half a minute.
UNSPOILERS

I hate cliffhanger endings. The way that Royal Pains ended made me want to punch my television. I thought that they'd start the season up again in the spring, but nooooo, we have to wait until next summer.
My hatred of such things started back with an 80's series called Matt Houston. They ended with Matt walking off into the sunset and the words continued next season flashed up on the screen. I so hated it because I started high school before it came back on, and I had to play football on Friday nights when they showed the series. And this was back when VCR's were huge prehistoric looking things that weighed 200 pounds and cost like 400 bucks, and we were poor so we couldn't afford one.
I swear, you could pick up one of those old top loading bastards and hit someone over the head with it, killing them instantly.

UNSPOILERS Well, uh...ehh. SPOILERS TOO Yeah, good point. Here's the best explanation I can come up with: Maryanne's minions, were all ludocrisly stupid. Given that we saw how they "see" things, they probably didn't even notice Sam healing from Bill. She was chasing Sookie for a good while there (It felt like it to me anyway), and the bullhead mask/helm was a part of the ceremony, it's a stretch, but perhaps he used that to imprint on and turn into the animal? At any rate, I'm just glad Sam lived. I was way scared he was going to eat it at the end of this season, which would've sucked, since his character grew on me a lot this season. END SPOILERS?

Jeeze Void, you are a much bigger fan of True Blood than I am! Love the show. Books are cool too.
I haven't watched the ending show yet, cause of work, but yea show is awesome. Next season according to the books (which is actually the weakest of the series, unfortunately, which means they'll probably change things up alot): SPOILERS has to do with the Sookie/Eric relationship, Lorena, Fellowship of the Sun, new supernatural creatures, and a new love interest.

I look forward to it, don't get me wrong, I like Bill and all, but I like Eric's character way more (obviously), dude may be sleazy, but uh, he knows what he wants I guess. And he seems more...vampire-y than Bill. But given how Ball and crew rewrite the stories for the better (like LaFayette not dying), I think the third season should be pretty good.

KNowing HBO and how they schedule thier hit shows, we will end up waiting two years for season 3 and then they'll end it.
Deadwood, Carnivale, Rome(2 seasons there) and with Sopranos my gawd did we wait long enough for season 5 and 6? Big Love waited a year and a half between 1st ans 2nd. Thses are hits and they just wait forever to drop the next ones

Got to love how Jason and Andy were going to be the heroes, and IMMEDIATELY messed up. By the by, as for the cliffhanger, I grew up watching shows that seemed to routinely end on cliffhangers, and then NOT GET RENEWED. This is nothing, in comparison.

First 10 episodes of the season were great. Last 2 were some of the worst TV I've ever seen. Total Crap.

So things to look forward to, um, SPOILERS I guess.
Reaction to cracked Eggs. Explanation as to why Sookie gets +1 against Greek Demigods. Why Eric is the only Vampire to fly so far Werewolves? Hinted at every season, but nothing. Maryanne's probably not done Virgin Fury A vampire queen who grows more annoying with every appearence More hardcore nudity!
End Spoilers.
Yeah, sounds good.

So things to look forward to, um, SPOILERS I guess. Why Eric is the only Vampire to fly so far Hahah, I didn't think about that, but you're right. I guess perhaps Bill doesn't do it because he's into mainstreaming, or trying to live like normal people. Eric seems more...arrogant and reckless, he is proud of what he is. Virgin Fury: Ehm, I think maybe since she feels she has been denied sex because of her...uh healing predicament, she's going to turn to hunting for pleasure.

Watched the show, and oh my. Was pretty good, not the best, timebomb was, but yea. The second half of the show, building for the next season is pretty interesting. Jesica as a rogue vampire, is interesting. And the Eggs scene was pretty major if you ask me.
MY PREDICTIONS:
Bill kidnapped, I would guess is by Eric or Lorena (gloves on the hand holding the silver signifies a vampire) is alright, but a tame cliff hanger compared to the one in season one. Sookie will probably think that Bill left her after thinking he took it the wrong way, and feels all guilty and crap like that. Oh and Sookie will gloom over Bill, while Tara gets irritated at her for making it all about her and Bill when her own love of her life is gone, and Sookie appears to not give a crap, putting their friendship on the line. The Sam part leads to the introduction of the Shapeshifters and the Weres', which is the difference in the book where Eric introduces them. The Eggs scene gives Jason something to do next season.

Predictions:
-Sookie lears of her Fae Heritage (Please do it will Mr. Ball....or I'll find you then it's Final Atomic Buster time)
- I think it's one of Eric minions....not Eric himself
- Maryann's Dead....deader than dead....
- I've been thinking on this one, Either Hadley (Sookie's more Fae cousin in the Vamp Queens Employ) or the Vampire queen herself has the ability to affect local probability......The Yahtzee thing is a ruse to make people believe they're equals, there has yet to be a High ranking vampire in the series that tries for any semblance of equality.

Yeah, the Weres are coming, no doubt. They got too much of a mention and Sam had too much screen time this season for them not to be. I do wonder what they will look like though. And if I had to guess about it, I'd pick one of Eric's minions as Bill's abductor, as well. But Lorena is also a good suggestion, because that broad is crazy, and I can just as easily see it being her.

As the "why is Eric the only one who flies" question, maybe it's like Anne Rice's vampires and the old ones can do it but most don't like it. Pandora in Queen of the Damned said that it was lonely and cold also terrifying. The cloud gift....
