One that needs to be mentioned is Austin vs Bret from Wrestlemania 13. Austin goes face, Bret goes heel and the Attitude Era begins. I'd probably go so far as to put it higher on the list than Austin/HBK - WM14, since the WM13 match really locked Austin in for everything that followed.

Generally, just because a match is good or great, I don't believe it should be considered important. I would consider matches to be important if they had some kind of lasting impact on the wrestling industry. Mankind/Rock (likely shifted the Monday Night War into the final direction. It was also indicative of everything the war was about and what went on during that time period) I was going to say that. It was an outstanding episode of Raw, overall. The big finale w/Rock v. Foley(with an assist from Austin). But more importantly, was the goings on on the other show that night. Tony(by order of Eric, as is my understanding) completely burying Foley and his fans and his drawing power while the fingerpoke of doom was happening amazes me. While it wasn't the FINAL nail in the coffin(I believe Malenko, Benoit, Eddie et al showing up at Raw was the true final nail), it was at least a starter nail.
