I'm sure that was a clip from the upcoming Bret DVD. Wow, that was a sad little tribute, though. Hearing JR start to cry at the end of the tribute show always gets to me.

Aaaand now I'm crying openly.
Holy Crap with Bret there, though.
Yeah, we can all thank Vinnie Ru for abandoning that when he took off for WCW.

Very much so! It was nice that they even had Jarrett on there, seeing as how close he was with Owen.

wow, Jeff Jarret too and other TNA stars confusion I'm less surprised by that.....for one, they were crying (regardess of the very good reason for it) and their testamonials (BG and Jarrett's) were two of the most emotional, and a recap of the show would have felt empty without them.

NUMBER ONE: The Beer Bath - The ultimate over-the-top Austin moment.
And now that I realize it, I think this is THE EXACT same list from the Tenth Anniversary RAW Special!
EDIT: Well, not EXACTLY, but very similar

NUMBER ONE: The Beer Bath - The ultimate over-the-top Austin moment. And now that I realize it, I think this is THE EXACT same list from the Tenth Anniversary RAW Special! EDIT: Well, not EXACTLY, but very similar As I stated about a month ago, wasn't it gonna be the same list being that nothing special has happened in the last three years or so? I know there's been some good matches here and there, but let's not kid ourselves, seeing that most of these moments happened in 1999 indicate that it's all been done, but I'm sure there's a chance we might get some good moments tomorrow night.

I think, as I thought when the other list came out, that the Owen show should have been Number 1. Other than that, good list.

I thought it was nice that they let "former" employee Chris Jerico appear so many times on this show. Hopefully this means that he'll be featured on one of the shows soon.

He's said about a dozen times that he's not done. And that he'll be back to the WWE. Kudos to them for letting him take some time.

I think, as I thought when the other list came out, that the Owen show should have been Number 1. Other than that, good list. In all reality, the Owen Hart Tribute Show was number one, but they wanted to end the show on a light note, and not a sad one. Still nice to see Bret give some brief comments (Can't wait for his DVD).

I still don't know why anyone would have voted for that show. I mean if it's Greatest Moments then inducting an entire show is ridiculous. It's like the the 'Greatest Year of The Century' poll inducting the 1950's.

First I was shocked that my DAD wanted to watch the countdown and he stopped watching WWE 6 years ago....
second..I thought it was a good countdown and in all actuality I agree that the Owen Tribute should have been number one because honestly I know everyone remembers the beer bath but the Owen RAW was THE most memorable even to this day and on........I was all shocked to see Bret though...I hope to get his dvd...
third- the POWER WALK!
finally...the commercial is hilarious! HHH saying "are we there yet" and smashing the furniture was the best moments of that commercial.. i can't believe i am giving kudos to Trips but he made that comm!

It's quite tastesless that a show dedicated to the memory of someone should suffer the indignity of being number 2 on some absurd list.

...imagine if the news was like that.
"......and in and number three the infamous school girl murder of 1982 - moving up three places to numbe two is the rape of 63 women in four months in 1997 - and the number one most depressing moment of the last 30 years...."
Just doesn't sit right with me at all.

It was stupid to rank the Owen show at all, but as long as it is featured in some way, any way, then I'm cool with it.

I actually cried during the Owen segment replay last night. No shame in that at all brother. It was pretty touching. I've stumbled upon an article before that recapped the whole show, and having not seen the whole show for a few years, reading it made me openly weep. I had a tear or two in my eye last night mainly because we often hear it referenced but we rarely get to see the pure emotion that those close to him felt (still feel) when he passed. Seeing Bret say he wishes he still would have been in WWE, only to save him, hurt.

Plus they had a good magazine out in like 2000 about Owen. I am keeping that thing forever.

I did like the Owen tribute in there. Why the hell was the diva group as a whole number 3...i think. I am pretty sure women in wrestling have decreased in value a lot since Raw has been on.
PLus the fact that Val Venis was mentioned more than DX had me a little peeved.
