I still don't like DX and to be honest never have but this has been better than the god awful 2006 run.
The jokes are not as bad or childish, they are not taking over every single show and they actually put someone else over quite cleanly.
So yeah they have been suprisingly harmless really. There have no been no DX beats 12 men this time around.

Admittedly I haven't watched every Raw they've been on but I've enjoyed what I've seen, although I'm another who liked their last run.

A MILLION TIMES BETTER then there awful 2006 run. They are not hogging the spotlight with lame skits and jokes, they are wrestling in really excellent matches, they are building talent.......everything about this is sooo soooo much better.

Boring. I know what to expect. Now in ring, they're still great so I just look down on the gimmick and the played out shennanigans they continually subject us to.

I think they've been alright, enjoyed the skits, especially with Dusty, and the matches have been decent at least so can't comlain really, but like someone above said they'll never really recapture the magic.

i'm enjoying Michaels' part of DX so far, as he is actually helping to establish new talent. Triple H...not so much. So what do you think happens? HHH sits their politicking, making sure that HBK takes all the falls? Seriously? I don't think that HHH is making sure that HBK takes all the falls, but it's been like a lot of tag teams where there seems to be a designated fall guy. And I don't like that it has to be my favorite wrestler of all time, but since HHH is the standard bearer of the WWE, they have to make sure he doesn't eat pins in matches that aren't designed to make people main eventers.

I think DX have been great this time round. I mean they are doing great and added to Raw in a time when Raw was going very stale. I like DX and hope they carry on for a good while yet.

How do I find DX 2009?
Better than 2006, because they're used more sporadicly and actually not being the dominant team. That and they're actually going up against a legit tag team and not simply the mechanations of Vince McMahon. Basically by distancing themselves from Vince (Who for some reason monopolizes ANY storyline he's in) they're able to be used in a less is more capacity and put on some really good matches.

I agree with what your saying. I would like DX to go on because right now they are great. I mean at the same time we are getting very good PPV matches.

my whole problem with shawn and hunter is that they act like the DX that everyone loves and recalls with fond memories was just the two of them. to be honest, the DX i enjoyed was the one with the new age outlaws, chyna and Xpac (ugh, can't believe i just typed that). DX with hunter, shawn, rick rude and chyna was boring, aggravating. DX that did the nation of domination parody? Awesome!!
plus, hunter and shawn have never been an established tag team, unlike say HBK and Diesel. it just seems like lumping two top guys together, rather than a functioning tag team

I've enjoyed it so far. The comedy is a lot quirkier than the 2006 "cock and poop" run and the matches are a lot better too. The best part is they actually have a reason to be there besides pleasing the crowd when it comes to helping out Legacy.

I think many of us would like to see a lot more of DX at this time.

Of course there will be similarities, but this one is clearly different in how it delivers it's humour. I also don't think they look like 2 guys thrown together. MVP and Mark Henry? Yes. DX? No. Their past association, their well known friendship off screen, both having been in DX before...it's nothing like throwing two guys together.

Ya know...
With TNA having released BG James, it's a long shot but I'd love if DX picked him up. Hey, if you're gonna go with a nostalgia run, may as well go as far as you can with it.

I love it when DX reunites. I've always found them funny and yes, that includes their 2006 run. And as already mentioned, they're making Rhodes and Dibiase look like a million bucks.

Even though I'm not crazy about them, they've not been as bad as they were in 06 with their antics and they're making Legacy look like threats.

I hated the DX06 run. HATED everything about it. But this one's been good so far. The comedy stuff is not overdone and is actually funny or at least amusing and the matches have been entertaining. Even their outfits are better.
I just wish this Legacy fued wasn't so damn long and they'd do something else.
