What would be the gooker of the year be for TNA?

So with the Suicide thread I was wondering what does everyone think was the worst thing in TNA in 2008. I feel it either has to be the MEM-Frontline feud, Samoa Joe's title run or "from the TNA Video game" Suicide.

Honestly I haven't been watching TNA as much this year especially after Lockdown and honestly just to me this has been the worst year in TNA that I've ever seen, just terrible!

I'm going to say that this years The Russo should go to the drawn out Karen Angle saga or TNA Impact: The Video Game.

I would say Suicide, but that hasn't ended yet, so it's too soon to tell.

In order to win a Gooker, the angle has to be really really bad. Frontline/MEM is not really really bad. Samoa Joe's Title run was not really really bad. Suicide hasn't even done that much to be considered really really bad.

I'll go with Sarah Palin in the Impact Zone.

Seriously, it would have to be Eric Young's quest to find Elvis the month before Slammiversary. Overhyping the videogame would probably be a distant second. I could also see Prince Justice Brotherhood as a possible contender, but I always thought that Curry Man was entertaining.

I'd go Joe's reign since they took a guy that 90% of the audience wanted to see win the belt because he was a badass that just killed people and after giving him the belt, made him Kevin Nash's puppet/bitch. Now the payoff (MEM/Frontline) is good but, I don't think Joe's reign was.

However, I would go with Suicide since they are basing it off a failed video game, created by a company that went bankrupt meaning very few actually care about it. Not to mention all the injuries that Kaz has/had that have caused it to stall.

Joe goes from being a badass to having to relearn everything from Nash and then *surprise* loses his title thanks to Nash in something everyone with a pulse saw coming. If he wasn't Nash's bitch, then he was neutered. Nash played Joe like a damn violin.

Joe's World Title reign was disappointing, not gooker-worthy. Turning the number-one badass in the company into a grade A whiner and lackey to Kevin Nash was pretty stupid, but it's not like there's nowhere things can go. Joe can always be badass again (maybe), and Nash can always finally disappear (someday...someday...). But Suicide is really a lost cause.

The MEM/Frontline angle is actually tolerable. It's not groundbreaking (See: WCW's New Blood or WWECW's New Breed/Originals angles). And it's damn sure not going to be the hot angle TNA needs to make them matter. But it's been decent so far. It'd just be a little less disheartening if TNA's Frontline actually got the friggin' upper hand once in a while. Still, there's a chance it will be good (maybe). Unlike Suicide.

Like I said, Suicide's a lost cause. And he should either fade into obscurity or go the route of WCW's Glacier.

So, look for him to win the X-Division belt sometime in early 2009.

I don't know if you could make a full induction out of it, but the worst part of TNA that I've seen this year is the Prince Justice Brotherhood, right down to the terrible T-shirt.

Of course, Eric Young seems to be attract crap like flies on poop.

Karen Angle's interviews come to mind.

The Jay Lethal-SoCal Val Wedding was pretty bad. Worse than bad. His bachelor party is up there.

Super Eric vs the Monsters was HORRIBLE.

Him looking for Elvis was even worse. That buried him forever for me.

Was Shark Boy waking from the coma this year? That was one of the worst thing's I've ever seen.

Abyss coming back in a nurse's outfit can be mentioned.
