No.Yoshi Tatsu is great but i cant ever see a Japanese wrestler hold one of the top titles in the company ever. Does Yoko count? Khali? while not japanese ( well neither was yoko) has that language barrier... right so he speaks english, but does he do it in a way other human beings can comprehend? He is a wee bit bigger than Yoshi tho

Will the Pope ever be non-Catholic? So that's a probably? I'd guess Elijah Burke isn't Catholic.

I think he might win the IC or US title one day, but I don't see him ever winning the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship. Maybe he'll win the ECW Championship, but that's it.

No.Yoshi Tatsu is great but i cant ever see a Japanese wrestler hold one of the top titles in the company ever. Does Yoko count? Yoko was Samoan. And there's a much stronger tradition of Samoan guys being successful in the WWE than there is Japanese guys. I doubt Tatsu will ever get anywhere more than midcard status, just due to the way the WWE has always treated Japanese wrestlers in the past.

IMO, unless they're a legend like Muta, Chono, Kobashi, or say somebody like Antonio Inoki, I doubt any Japanese wrestler is winning the WWE Championship.
...Give Inoki his title back! He never lost it dammit!

I think I like the idea of him more than I actually like him.

ECW Title, I could see him winning down the line.

Why does the no option include the comment that he sucks?
I like him a lot, I just don't think he's going to be a world champion in the WWE.

No, but when he gets released, and goes back to NJPW, he might have enough momentum for the IWGP title.

Yoshi-mania will not run wild.
I vote no.

How many guys Yoshi's size have gone on to a World Championship reign? And no, I don't hate him either. Just being a realist.

How many guys Yoshi's size have gone on to a World Championship reign? He's 6'1, 220lbs, which means he's actually a little bit bigger then Shawn Micheals.

If you count the ECW title as a "World" title, then hells to the yes.

Seeing him stand next to Goldust, he actually looked a little bigger than I thought he was. I think he could be a strong midcarder (which I guess is where he's at now) to even upper midcarder and maybe win one or more of the ECW, I.C. or U.S. titles, but nothing more than that. Think Tajiri minus the evil mist. The dragon roll + discus elbow this past week convinced me he could be great in the midcard. He's already over with the "Yoshi" chants, I definitely see him potentially going as far as Jeff Hardy has from his moveset/popularity alone. Also, I love the avatar, Agent Cooper!
