Personally I thought Raw was great, despite some guy in the raw thread deeming it the worst raw ever before it even started, and kept repeating it all night (much like Bender/TnA naysayers and his "Dooooom").
Trish Vs. Victoria Was great. Good to see competent women who work hard going at it, putting together a cool match, Trish brought back all her cool face moves, and Victoria (probably got some rest waiting for Trish) brought back all her cool heel moves. Yeah the ending was a big schmozz, but they gotta stretch the thing between the only two women wrestling in this fued.
Snitsky Vs. Big Show: It was fun. I'm digging Big show, Squasher of jobbers/guy who suck. In the "small things I find funny" department, I loved how he punched the chair, slapped the garbage can out of Snitsky's hand, and all around made Snitsky his b---ch and it was quick, violent fun.
The Coach: hahah, o man, I usually hate this guy, but his ranting against spike was hilarious.
The spike tv censorship was hilarious, not mention the "experiancing technical difficulties" thing with wwe guys on it.
I found that Cena Bischoff segment hilarious.
Hmm... Smackdown eh, interesting.
A good TAg team match from Murdoch/Cade and Venis/Viscera. Wow a good women's match and Tag team match in one night.
Conway vs. Eugene. What can I say, I mark for the Con-man. And it's an ovw dream match, WWe creative style. If it escalades into a fued, should be fun.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White. Everyone was expecting great things from these two once the rumors of a fued started. I thought it was solid, but nothing special. But it's just a small part of a bigger story where a better match should come down the line.
Tables match: good stuff. Carlito fears splinters.
Anyways, discuss. How'd you guys feel? I don't feel like going through a 50 page thread.

it was one of the best raws ive seen in a while, but it seems lately a lot of mtches are ending in a DQ, the ending to the womens match with other diva trying to speak and make a match was bad, the tables match was great it looks like the wwe knows how big a threat tna is and the wwe is becoming better and more interesting and less and less safe style it seems

i tuned off after what seeemed like a 30 minute women's match....it was a good match but the 10 minutes of crap after the match seemed like filler for me, and you can only laugh so many times at Candace doing the "eddie gilbert bump"
I did flip it back over to see the end of the Eugene match with him crying and the last match was pretty good.

What was with the finish to the Benjamin/Kerwin match? Seemed pretty botched. I assume the caddy was supposed to hold a leg but he didn't actually do it.

The best was when Ross tried to blame the Caddy, who was CLEARLY not doing anything. So yeah, I'm definatly calling this as a severe botch job. Plus Shelty didn't do his baseball slide clothesline, my new favorite part of Benjamin matches...and they let him talk.

I didn't mind that they let Shelton talk. He's never gonna get better if he's not allowed on the mic.
And LOL to JR blaming the caddy.
I loved the Big Show match. He ran Captain Bacne around the ring like a show pony. And the best part was his batting the garbage can down like an angry bear.
A good RAW, IMO.

I watched it up until the main event. When Sideshow's music hit I turned off the tv and went on-line. The idea of watching 3 of my least favorite wrestlers (Cena, Sideshow, and Masters) in a tables match didn't sound that interesting to me .

The show was decent. Nothing spectacular, but certainly better than it has been lately.
The women's match was really good. All the post-match stuff with Ashley and pals was entirely pointless and boring, but I suppose Vince can't pay them to do nothing but watch Trish and Victoria wrestle. Two gripes about that: * I never understood the longtime WWE logic where a eye-candy diva gets stripped to her bra and panties, and she is embarrassed by this. Candice has clearly worn bikinis that were skimpier than the bra and panties she had on last night, and she is basically doing lingerie photo shoots constantly. All of a sudden now we're supposed to believe she has some sense of modesty? I'm not singling Candice out, as WWE has used this logic for years. * I will single Candice out on something else though.... she should lose her mic priveleges for the next year after last night! I never thought I'd say this, but she should really stick to her that stupid dance of hers.
So Rob Conway tore apart Eugene's teddy bear. I wonder if the writers even realize that they already this did last year! Again though, at least the match was decent!
I loved the tables match, because it is something that WWE has not done in a while! I honestly haven't seen a tables match in quite a while, so it was a nice change of pace.

Why not just have the fat guy in the front row grab the mic and say "Next week, it's going to be Visera vs John Cena in a hot dog eating contest for the world title".

The "Sorry Conway, I'm Straight" sign was the best. Rob looked right at it as he was paused on the ring steps/apron. That whole match really entertained me, loved The Con-Man flipping out because Eugene wore his glasses, and using the HBK bear as a hostage. Only thing that would have been better is if he said "lay down and let me pin you or the bear gets it". Then after the win he ripped up the bear anyway.

Another thought on the Candice situation. I thought it was funny that Torrie Wilson was wearing less than Candice after she got stripped. And yet, Torrie was trying to cover up Candice.

Torrie should have been covering Candice's mouth instead. I think Candice embarassed herself far worse on the mic than she ever could by being stripped!

Very good Raw last night... The one part that made the whole episode, for me at least, was Conway tearing apart the bear. I marked like a little girl for that one... I hates me some Eugene.
...I marked for Conway.. ....I... I feel so... Unclean now...

Good Raw. Best in a while. But the ME was such a WTF match to me it was sad. Though it was kind of entertaining except for whenever Masters did a move. The Women's match was the by far the best. Shelton brought his a game last night too though

What does make sense, is that I felt a little embarassed to be watching Raw considering how pathetic and stupid that segment of the show was. Other than that though, I thought it was a good, solid episode of Raw. More matches and story building, less BS. Stick to women wrestling and drop the diva crap, and you've got yourself a great show.

Candice also stripped herself after the Torrie/Melina Bra and Panties match at the GAB. She was the referee, Torrie lost, Torrie/Candice double teamed and stripped Melina, then Candice stripped. I'm not supposed to remember this, even though it's pretty much when the whole Torrie/Candice (and now Victoria) angle started.

The Final Spike TV Raw is also one of the best editions of RAW of All Time!
