O I was watching the Lance CAde/Trevor Murdock match on Raw lately, and although I love their spiffy new music, I liked the old one just a little bit more.
Who else has had a bout of mysteriously changing theme music, and then changing it back (or to another one)?
let's see
I remember Austin had Disturbed after the shattered glass once, and some other incarnations, but other than being reminded, I only remember the cool WWf production of it.
Kurt Angle: he had his music remixed for like one night, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it had this strange rock track and the trumpets were altered. I'm glad they changed it back. It's just so perfect for him, and suits him. Which is really odd since it's recycled music they gave to like 4 other guys before Angle showed up. They really wanted somebody to use it.
Booker T: Remember that one month where they took away his cool harlem heat music and put in his wwe originals theme song, Can you dig it?
HHH: I'm not sure but did he ever use the Drowning Pool version of The Game? It was interesting, but come on, HHH and Motorhead is just an awesome combination.
Evolution: they had the original lyricless version, and then the other one with Motorhead, but it had the trumpets instead of the ticking clock. Glad they kept the ticking clock.
Flair: Sometimes it has the Whoo in front of it, sometimes it doesn't.
Shelton Benjamin: You know I can still remember the original version of his Raw theme song before Ain't no stopping me NoOOO!!! but for the life of me I can't remember what the hell it was used for. Nunzio maybe? I just remember the beginning had that hard rift on it like FBI's.

Jericho briefly used Saliva's "King of My World" in late 2002/early 2003.
Also, Rodney Mack used several themes before he was released.

When Eugene made his debut, he came out to music that sounded like, I dunno, something they'd play at a little kid's party. Then they changed it to what it is now, not so "kiddie."

I think HHH went through like 300 themes in between the incarnations of DX.

Bret Hart's music is basically the same exact thing as the old Hart Foundation music, just with the extra, "reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" guitar thingy in the beginning.

Anyone remember the cool remix Mankind had of his original theme for a night or two (know he used it at IYH Rock Bottom) before he got the one with the tire screech? I liked it anyway.
Also I LOVED Kurt Angle's remixed theme, which can be found on WWE Anthology

Does anyone remember the Al Snow heel theme? For the majority of his career he had the "What does everybody want" theme that we all know. But for about a month in roughly 1999 or so, he had turned heel. His theme was changed to some really cool synth/guitar song that was kind of slow and painful sounding. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?

Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I vaguely remember it. I think it was his theme in the WM 2000 game. Lesnar's theme changed two or three times before they settled on his famous one. The other themes were actually pretty good, though.

Shelton Benjamin: You know I can still remember the original version of his Raw theme song before Ain't no stopping me NoOOO!!! but for the life of me I can't remember what the hell it was used for. Nunzio maybe? I just remember the beginning had that hard rift on it like FBI's. I remember that one.You can go to his profile on WWE.com and check on his videos,it has the one where he beats HHH,and at the end you can hear it.I thought it sounded pretty bad-ass. And I'm surprised noone has mentioned this yet.Ken Kennedy switched his about 2 weeks ago. Before he had this awfully generic guitar riff, but now he has the one with lyrics and "MIIIIIIIIIIISSSTEEEEEEEEEEERRR KENNEDY!" in the beggining.

Al Snow's heel theme ruled all... it had a rockin' organ on it.
I remember that right before DX started using "The Kings" by Run-D.M.C., they had a souped up remixed version of the original DX theme. I've been looking for that version FOREVER on mp3, to no avail. Mostly because NO ONE remembers this.

I also have seen the Video of it with DX and RUN DMC on MTV a couple of times, but late at night. The Rock's music has changed slightly since he first became the Rock. Kurt Angle's music was used as the Patriot's when he fueded with Bret in 97. I think pretty much everyone's music has changed from time to time with the exception of maybe Vince McMahons, and the Shawn singing the lyrics (instead of sherri) for his music.

My friend has that burned on a cd. Its not the original DX theme, and it isnt the RUN DMC version. I think this might be the one you are talking about. And you are right, it does sound awesome.
