I think about a third of the people who have been on the show has many people scratching their heads as to who they are (or were). I think reality shows are only interesting if they have an interesting mix of personalities. Maven was interesting on TE, and I honestly think that he could be even more interesting on SL. Remember, before TE he was a teacher. I can't imagine a group of adults who would act more like a group of children than a group of has-beens.

Maven will probably be the normal, silent guy who will just sit in the background cursing out his agent.

The sport that very few people know/care about. He probably IS more famous for dating Pink and being on the Surreal Life than for 'redefining the sport'.
Maven is probably around a simular level to him. Maven gets the advantage being in a more widely seen 'sport'. But the disadvantage that he isn't the big huge star of it, and he's not dating a singer with weird har.

The current Surreal Life cast is absolutely horrid.
I mean Bronson Pinchot is their biggest star.
Yeah......

Maven was on Tough Enough so a lot of people who watch MTV will remember him. That means he's more famous than Trishell (sp?) from RW Las Vegas.

With Tough Enough he was already an MTV/reality tv star. So that would make sense to me, he is more known for that show then anything he acctuly did in wrestling.

Maven goes 'Surreal' Written by: Robbie 09/21/05 Maven has just confirmed his newest role in the entertainment business: He is currently in California filming the new season of VH1's "The Surreal Life". It appears he is the 'Mystery Hunk from a reality show". He will be living with the following people: C.C. Deville, Tawny Kitaen, Alexis Arquette, Andrea Lowell, Florence Henderson, Sherman Helmsley, and Steve Harwell. Check out LivewireWrestling.com and mavenhuffman.com for more details as they become available! Credit: mavenhuffman.com via Gerweck.net Thats awesome. Maybe he and Sherman Helmsley will make a sequel to Mr. Nanny. They can just say Sean Armstrong died in a horrific motorcycle accident. A new nanny is needed for the brats and out comes Maven with a smile on his face, trying to bring some hos he seduced over to the mansion only to have the brats destroy his nights. Its got B Movie phenom written all over it!

I see where you are going. MR. NANNY is somewhat like XXX was going to try to be if there was a third one (Sam Jackson gets a new XXX each film). But replace Sam Jackson with George Jefferson and people who can act with wrestlers that really shouldn't try and there you go (part three would have El Gigante)

I just read this on VH1.com about the new Surreal Life:
"MYSTERY HUNK: The cast will choose the final roommate from a pool of reality show hunks. Mr. Survivor? Mr. Apprentice? Mr. Big..."
Is Maven the one the rest of the cast chose, or is he just going to appear on the first episode and not actually get to live in the house? I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't picked and he just shows up on one episode.

I've been doing some thinking about this cast. It's almost perfect. I agree that it should be Warrior instead of Mavin for the former wrestler role I' d keep Alexis Arquette and Steve Harwell. Add Ant, Susan Powder, and that "designer/actor" that's in all of VH1's "100 most..." shows I'd also keep Andrea Lowell, because she's fricken hot
