11 people at a matinee show that was run. I worked the main event. We popped the crowd to 13!!
That, my friends, is drawing power!

Like a #2 pencil my friend Edit: I guess I should answer the question too. The smallest show I've been to was a Bad News Allen tribute show in Cochrane Alberta. I'm not sure of official numbers(odd considering my college roommate was working the opening match, I never asked him what the gate was). It was a decent sized crowd though at least 400. The funny thing was hearing him tell me about driving Jim Neidhart to the next show and Neidhart tried to kayfabe him on Who. When my friend asked him who came up with that gimmick Anvil said "that wasn't me". Even better. Jim then asked what day it was. My friend told him it was saturday and Jim say "You're f***ing with me right?" There was a long silence and then Jim said "Today..is..saturday..." and then promptly fell asleep and started snoring.

Some energy drink that I can't remember promoted a wrestling event at Umass... Card was actually sort of stacked with Justin Credible vs Spike Dudley and DDP vs Buff Bagwell as main events. Now picture 200 people in a 7-8 thousand seat arena.

As far as being in the crowd itself, I'd say about 30 or so at an indy event. As far as me actually being part of a match or promo or some other thing to destroy the show, I'd say there were no more than 40 people.

A friend of mine runs a local promotion, and there was a grand total of 5 paid in the crowd. 3 guys who came together, and a couple.
Of course, the promoter swears there were 50 people, but that includes me (who ran the camera), my brother (who came in with me for free), his friends and family working concessions and the door, and some of the wrestlers' wives and girlfriends. And even counting them, it still doesn't come close to 50 people.

The dude whose shows I ruin (or by other people's accounts, vastly improve) used to do the same thing and brag about there being far more people attending than there were. Thus, I demanded more money as per our agreement on my percentage of the gate. He no longer exagerated.
