You know what cracks me up?
People misinterpreting the line from TNA about "No Divas Here."
It never had anything to do with Playboy. It had everything to do with real women's wrestling and no "talent searches" or untrained "professionals" hurting the workers.
Just cracks me up that apparently they aren't allowed to be Knockouts and sexy at the same time.

So you have four Divas who did Playboy who came from the Diva Search. Yet one of them is in TNA and is being praised by most TNA fans for her work in the ring. Yet WWE has Divas like Mickie, Trish, Natayla, Melina, and Victoria who never posed for Playboy. Yet somehow it was wrong for the Divas to do it, but not the Knockouts. That is the hypocritical part of TNA fans. OK, before I start this message is a reply to you, but also has something in it for everyone. (I have low expectations on the reception of it, however.) Okay here's your reply. That generalizes all the Divas, Knockouts, and TNA fans into one group who all think and decide things the same way as a group. You're saying most TNA fans do this and most TNA fans do that. Whatever! There are free thinkers such as myself, you know. I certainly never praised Hemme's in-ring work in TNA, although I will say she's improving (and if she's stale and not going anywhere then kick her to the curb for all I care). I'm not disputing that certain TNA fans might make such an argument (someone arguing WWE DIVAS wrong to pose TNA KNOCKOUTS okay to pose), but personally, I think it's a stupid argument to begin with. So I take offense to you basically saying TNA fans are all hypocrites that share said opinion and argument. I'm a TNA fan (yet a highly critical one) and obviously I've stated that I don't share this argument, thereby proving all TNA fans don't share one sole opinion all the time. This next sentence is not solely directed at you but everyone. Can people stop with the "all (insert wrestling promotion) fans (do/say/think/act) ________...." Hopefully. Or an off-topic thread is in the future. OK, one more thing, then done with the rant. I didn't really have much problem with WWE divas in Playboy. I bought most of them! I did think the pillow fights were lame and that was usually just on RAW anyway.

I would LOVE to see Velvet Sky do this. I would actually buy a copy or maybe two. However I find it very hypocritical of TNA that they would do this as this is something the Diva's did. It makes TNA look worse in my opinion. WWE did it so know TNA is going to try it. They are following in WWE's footsteps instead of doing their own thing. And from the majority of the TNA fans I've dealt with their first attack against the Divas was usually that they had done playboy or that was all the Divas were being used for. I'd really like to hear what some of them are going to say to this. Let me quote myself for you. I said the majority of fans. I suggest you read a post throughly before rushing to make personal attacks on someone in the future.

I suggest you read a post throughly before rushing to make personal attacks on someone in the future. Here's your reply to your misquote. Exactly how many TNA fans have you 'dealt' with about this and when? This argument is clearly out of date now as the Divas division has gotten better lately but there was a time (Diva Search era) when a negative comment wouldn't be as unfounded. I still think TNA Knockouts > WWE Divas in ring, but Divas are definitely a lot better than they've been in years. The argument that the Divas had done or were just being used for Playboy probably relates to the fact that for a time a lot of diva search girls were being thrown in the fire with little training, had lousy matches as a result and were also contracted out for the Playboy shoots. I personally wouldn't argue that as a whole the Divas are only used for Playboy, as you have (or had Victoria, Mickie, and all the other Divas who can actually wrestle) but for a time there were all lot of girls in/out from the diva search. Thanks for the help but I'll go ahead and re-quote the post of yours that I was actually replying to originally where you lump TNA fans together into a group of hypocrites who share the same opinions. That is the hypocritical part of TNA fans.

Wow thick headed much? I used to post on TNA's xtreme regime which they used for awhile as their little community before it was forgotten. We had a discussion on there about the Divas and the Knockouts. The MAJORITY and that is the word you need to pay attention to voiced that the Divas were all horrible since some of them posed for Playboy. That has been my experience with TNA fans. Do you understand, yet?
I however see no difference in overall wrestling ability, presentation of the women's division in ether company. But we aren't talking about that now are we?
I somehow doubt you'll get what I'm saying since your mind is already made up, but have fun on your high horse.

You two can knock it off at any time, and I'd strongly suggest knocking off the insults maniacmike.

You two can knock it off at any time, and I'd strongly suggest knocking off the insults maniacmike. What insults? You're singling me out, why now? For arguing a point? Did you read through the entire thread? I never flamed anyone. Just asked for people to stop generalizing. So, I'm not sorry for that. I somehow doubt you'll get what I'm saying since your mind is already made up, but have fun on your high horse. 1. Yeah, and of course (now) that you've explain where you're coming from I understand you better than when you just generally say the 'majority of TNA fans'. Which is exactly why I asked the quesiton in the first place. As for as insults, you doubting that I'll understand your 'majority' comment meaning most fans on xtreme regime, that is truly what is insulting here as is you saying "yet". 2. Neither do I, and while not exactly, it figures in to why others may have argued it in the past. *edit actually come to think of it, of course I see a difference in presentation. Knockouts beat the hell out of each other! Kong throws other Knockouts into guard rails. They have freakin' ODB!...definitely not a 'diva'. So yeah now they're presenting something WWE isn't right now. 3. As far as who's on a high horse I think you're referring to yourself. I'm just defending my position as a fan. I've argued my point effectively throughout this whole deal. You're just having trouble dealing with that.

And for the record, MsChif isn't in TNA because she's already got a full-time job.

Get Christy to do another shoot. It'd be more likely to catch the eye of the "casual" fan (of both PB and wrestling) and since she's done it before, would help to bring the focus onto TNA now, so everybody wins.

Khan is actually smokin so I wouldn't mind if she did it!
But yeah, make it TBP methinks.
I think as long as TNA keeps the same format for the Knockouts, while not weaving Playboy too much into the storylines, it won't be bad at all. Might give them more outside exposure (no pun intended lol).

I would love to see the Beautiful People in a Playboy spread. (minus Billy) I'm all for it.
