The problem with this is that even though it's a one off appearance, it's a one off appearance that will probably get a fair deal of attention. The Hills is a pretty big deal, and in theory, while it will attract some new viewers, the Hills fans that watch it will just tune back out as soon as he's not there. Trust me, The Hills audience (I hear f***ing retards talking about it every day) are NOT going to regularly watch a wrestling show. Also, because there are just as many people who hate The Hills, THAT portion of the audience is gonna tune in or see it on youtube or hear about it, and mock it endlessly. So the E! entertainment shows and VH1 weekly recap shows will have a field day with it.
In the end, it'll boost TNA's audience for the ONE appearance a little (unless it's on PPV), but in the long run TNA will be seen as that dumb company who had the guy from The Hills.

All TNA needs is a creepy flesh colored beard.

I actually think it's a good idea as far as celebrities go. As big of a douche this guy is, he's known among teenage girls and people who watch MTV. Unlike someone like Danny Bonaduce, where no one born after 1970 has any idea who he is.

Being a possible friend/ally to the Beautiful People wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. At least it would make some sense.

Then give him the K-Fed treatment. Have him pin the champ?

Will he bring his creepy flesh-colored beard? They should've gone to WWE to face Knox in a battle for Beardpremacy. Puh-leeze, that would be a bigger squash than Kane v Chavo from WrestleMania 24 and you know it. I'd honestly like to see Homicide drop his ass with a Gringo Killa or something.

They want to tie in with The Hills and they want Spencer Pratt? Oh sure, most wrestling fans would rather see him running around being an idiot than Lauren Conrad or Audrina Patridge.
