1. Pot may be illegal and bad for your judgment, but many wrestlers have been busted and continued their careers after doing things far worse to themselves. Hell, McMahon encouraged 'roid abuse for quite some time, and Scott Hall didn't exactly get shown the door for his bad habits during his 1st run (even though I'm pretty sure they knew he was doing it during his Razor days) 2. Didn't WWE know that RVD had been a writer for High Times magazine at some point? He didn't exactly have a squeaky clean background. 3. RVD's tendency to make his depush into The Passion of the Stoner really makes him look like an arrogant moron, regardless of talent.

Seriously? I think ECW would be a lot different today if it was built around RVD and booked by Heyman. Had that been a profitable program, Paul would have been granted more control over the show. A promotion is only as good as it's top draw. When the Draw is RVD, well that's a lot different than the Big Show. I mean, don't get me wrong. I assume the Originals would have put over the New Blood eventually, and pass the torch on, but to act as Vince always wanted the show to become HeAt, is just foolish.

But if you ever listened to his Radio show. Or read his my space blogs about it. He is very smart about the topic. More so about the medical use of it. Yeah it not smart to drive under it. As it not smart do drive drunk either. The thing is more people get caught being drunk then being stoned on pot. Not that it matters. Because it both bad. The WWE I would think would have known what they got when they signed him. Because he very open about it and I'm sure he never hide it.

I'll reword my point, as it was missed by a few and others focused on the wrong part:
I don't care if you are baked, drunk, coked out, on an acid trip or the doctor told you to take more Tylenol 3 then your system can handle and you're feeling light headed. YOU ARE IMPAIRED AND SHOULD NOT DRIVE.
That was the point I was trying to make. I don't care what you do in your personal time, but DON'T DRIVE. Your a risk to yourself and to others. That's why I've never felt sorry for Rob, because he was driving a vehicle when he was unfit to do so.

That is exactly what I would have said, had I taken the time to word things properly.

Was he signed for this interview or was it a one-shot deal?

I agree that he shouldnt have driven while smoking marijuna, but it its kind of hypocritcal that the wwe plays up his pothead image (see the "peace pipe" promo he did with tatanka) but when he gets arrested for it, they punish him.

Austin was played up as a heavy drinker, doesn't mean WWE wouldn't have been pissed if he got a DUI especially while he was champ.

I know Austin's never gotten a DUI, but he did go home and beat his wife. The WWE responded with this:
