I honestly like Bret and Bulldog better. As much respect as I have for the Steamboat - Savage, I just feel like the SummerSlam match out does it just a hair.

Mr. Perfect vs Bret Hart. forgot about that one, great match, but i think Bret-Bulldog is equal to it as far as in ring action and miles ahead in terms of emotion.

Out of ALL the Intercontinental Champions there has EVER been, Mr Perfect had the most interesting gimmick and matches. So.....anything with him in.

I actually prefer this one to the WM match.
The HHH/Rocky Ladder Match is pretty damn good as well.

Warrior/Rude at Summerslam 89 is very underrated. Whether it is the "best" by anyone's standards is another debate, but it is definitely one of my favorites.

I agree but the mere thought he was orignally ment to job the belt to Beefcake (Was that Cause of Hogan influence???) before his accident makes me shudder.

Warrior/Rude at Summerslam 89 is very underrated. I agree 100%, that's one of my favorites as well. Ultimate Warrior/Rick Rude was a classic feud of contrasting styles and characters, culminating in a great return IC title match at Summerslam 1989. I thought that was the best match of that PPV.

I agree with just about all the before mentioned matches (especially Piper/Hart, Hart/Perfect, and the ladder match)
I'll throw out a few others:
1. Razor Ramon vs Diesel: SummerSlam 94. It was not technical masterpiece, but it was quite the entertaining little match and had a great blowoff with Razor winning. Doesn't hold a candle to what has already been mentioned, but is quite good.
2. Warrior vs Hogan: WM 6. Technically.....it was an IC title match.
3. Shawn vs Jarrett: July In Your House 95. Awesome match that has been completely forgotten about in time.

I 3. Shawn vs Jarrett: July In Your House 95. Awesome match that has been completely forgotten about in time. Yeah, that was a good one. It's recently been resurrected on Shawn's most recent DVD set.

HHH vs Rock @ SS98. Good pyscology, good effort in between the ropes(HHH was legit hurt during this one and kept going seamlessly), back and forth and lets face it these two were absolute studs back then. The first of what became a great fued for gold belts
